    INTRODUCTION

I was twenty years old when I wrote this book. I did not intend on publishing this at all. I left Miami and went to Los Angeles in February 2008 to pursue a better lifestyle and succeed with my rap career. I did not care about the obstacles I was about to face, I just knew in my heart that I wanted things to change for the better because nothing was happening for me in Miami. When I got to L.A. I tried to make something happen but failed, not once but twice! I was living in a motel in watts for a couple of weeks and had to leave because I was almost out of money.

I did not know anyone in L.A. And wasn’t the type of person to beg or accept hand outs from people that I do not know. So I left L.A. And went to stay with my grandpa and grandma in Arizona. I had a hard time adapting to where I was because they lived in a area called Peoria which is majority rich white folks. A lot of them were old so I hardly seen them. Peoria was far from the inner city so I did not have anyone to relate to. I tried doing several different things to help the time go by but this prison like setting eventually started affecting my mind. I did not understand at that time that god was doing

I was initiated into the bloods back in Miami, and was involved in a lot of things that can ultimately alter and destroy the life that I was blessed with. This book is the written transformation that I experienced in Arizona. I hope this book gives other street souljahs insight on how they can break free from this plague that so many of us have been consumed by. One day at a time, may each one teach one. One Love

    FRUSTRATED

    1. Today was my first day working as a McDonald’s employee. It was frustrating at first, and those demons started calling me. I wanted to break out on their ass, but I stayed humble. It is extra and extremely hard for a brother like me to keep control of myself under such buster ass conditions. After getting the hang of how they operate I handled my situation much better. I know for a fact that I need money, and a real
