About this ebook

A short book, basically a structured stream of consciousness, discussing thoughts about living in this era and concerns about subjects and things that seem to be challenges in this agricultural, dogmatized society.

I’d like to dedicate this compilation to my parents

And my son whom I’ve never had the chance to do anything for

because of my anger, selfish youth and lack of want. Forgive me.

    I love you all so.

    Table of Contents

    Some Fake Poetry, I Think

    ADHD

    Love and Marriage

    Religion

    Communication and Technology

    Money

    Politics

    Free Slavery

    Final Note

    Some Fake Poetry, I Think

    The Knot

    There is a knot.

Some people see it as a challenge to unfurl it and straighten it

Some people see the beauty in it and let it be

    The Poison of Life

Take it little bit by little bit. It’s bitter.

But it will become medicine and make you stronger.

    It becomes easier to take.

Drink it all at once and it will overcome you and it will kill you.

    The Flavor of Water

Do you drink it because you thirst

Or can you taste it and savor it as you drink

That which everyone else takes for granted

    And piss away?

    The Wheel

    That hamster wheel seems fun

The little furry stupid ball of fur gets on it and charges

Run and run and run and run

But that little hamster gets nowhere

    You think it knows that?

    Do we know it?

    The Night Sky

Paul Bowles knows how frightening it is

    Beyond the sheltering sky

We think it’s so safe, tethered to this floating ball

Until we notice our blue, serene, day lit sky slip away like a veil at night

To reveal the terror of just how alone we really are

    Spinning and spinning

    In the vast void

    ADHD

Yeah, I’m putting this in here because I know a lot of people NEVER read the foreword, including myself…I feign interest in many books until my self-diagnosed affliction of ADHD kicks in and I skip to the meat. But this here, IS the actual meat. It’s not really a foreword. It’s all written for a certain purpose, I believe. If not, then let’s pretend it does.

I have no idea what has brought me here to this point except for the need to make money (see Money, haha) and I suppose as I write about personal ideas and thoughts that this is a form of selling my soul. It’s a very ironic thing since I have been ambivalent about that very thing—the dual and conflicting nature of an artist.

But truly, I believe this is my only contribution to this world. I’ve been a dreamer
