ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to thank my husband Stanley for all of his years of patience, understanding, love, support and encouragement in all I do. I would like to say thank you to my daughter and co-author Kendra. Over the years Kendra has repeatedly and unintentionally given me insight, wisdom well beyond her years, and a deeper clarity and awareness of a unique mindset. Her ensuing success because of this way of thinking is an inspiration and what will be shared here.
I would also like to thank Bill and Mina Volencz for their inspiration and words of wisdom.
"Deborah, your message is to educate, to let people know they are empowered, always were and always will have the ability to lead their lives with no need for approval. Perception is only a belief, it is not real. We are individuals, we are unique; no two people perceive life the same way.
And that is why I love and respect what you do, bringing awareness to the masses and the message is don’t resist your natural self, act upon your highest excitement, you are unique, challenge your limits and do what you love to do

INTRODUCTION
(A PAGE FROM MY DAUGHTER’S BOOK)
In so many ways we have become the lost society; the world has become so complex we struggle to grasp our own reality. We try to ‘find’ ourselves, ‘understand’ ourselves, ‘create’ ourselves; or sometimes ‘lose’ ourselves and shadow another in an attempt to feel fulfilled. What ever happened to simply ‘being ourselves’? We question our contentedness and if we are content does that mean we are deceiving ourselves.
Plainly put, we are what and who we are at this point in time. If we are incongruent in ourselves, we are the only ones who can alter those dynamics. We have the ability to live a mentally and emotionally balanced life if we adjust our mindset and follow through with the necessary actions to create it.
If we trust in our own beliefs, our thoughts, our values and our individual traits we will attract those who resonate with us. If we veer away from our natural characteristics and qualities to accommodate anything or anyone else, we will struggle until we ‘find’ ourselves and put ourselves back on our personal track again.
This does not mean we only think about ourselves with disregard for others. It does not mean having a rigid, unbending mindset. The congruence I am talking about is that deep-rooted core belief of what works for us and what does not. If we consistently resonate with ourselves and follow what is in our heart and head, we will never steer ourselves wrong. In fact, you may be pleasantly surprised at those around you who suddenly become more accommodating. You will also find though, some who distance themselves from you as you no longer seem to be on the same wavelength.
Since her childhood, I have watched in fascination as our daughter has unconsciously applied this mindset and concepts to achieve her goals. She has held true to herself, determines and embraces what works for her and discards what does not.
Our daughter has, many times over, given me awareness and understanding that defies her years on this plane. Her ideals are concise; she defines what she wants, sometimes vaguely, sometimes specifically, and then allows the appropriate opportunities to present themselves. Most importantly, she follows through regardless of how her ‘want’ presents itself.
In Grade 5 our daughter announced she wanted to do
