Deborah Beavers

Deborah Beavers was born Deborah Ann Rolfe in Memphis, Tennessee where she, along with her sister and two brothers, was reared by her maternal grandmother, who was a tremendous influence in her life. She began to seek the Lord early in her life and at the age of 20, in Wurzburg, Germany, she was filled with the gift of the Holy Ghost. She is an active member of her church where she serves as a licensed Evangelist, Women’s Sunday School Teacher, President of Pastor’s Aide, and Purity Lady. She is a registered nurse with thirty years of experience which have allowed her many opportunities to encounter and observe people from all walks of life. She is a 4th Degree Black Belt and certified instructor in Taekwondo. It is partially due to her personal near jading that she takes the opportunity to share the word of God every chance she gets, encouraging others to never give up on God and His amazing grace. Deborah Beavers continues to live in Memphis with her husband of twenty eight years. She has three adult children, a host of wonderful grandchildren, one great grandchild, and blessings innumerable. Though she wears the titles of wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, RN, martial arts instructor, business owner, Evangelist, and Sunday School teacher, she is most pleased to simply be called a Child of God.

I thank God for all of the wonderful people He has allowed to be a part of my journey through life. Although I know that they have had a purpose and a season for being in my life, there are some to whom I would like to give special recognition for loving me through the rough passages.

To my husband, Sam, thank you for your support, love, and encouragement. I know that it has not always been easy. I know that there were times when perhaps we both wanted to throw in the towel. However, God kept us together and kept us going. You are a strong man of God, and I know that He has great plans for you and your ministry. Continue to trust Him, and know that I love you.

To my firstborn child and only daughter, Kertrina, thank you for being you. I have always been able to depend on your support and love. I think you are my greatest cheerleader. You were in my ear telling me that I could—even when I had doubts. I am so proud of the woman you have become and even more proud of your growth in the Lord. I have had the pleasure of witnessing a transformation in you that is inspiring. Thank you.

To my two sons, David and Christian, thank you. I thank God that you both have become strong, God-fearing, responsible men. Yes, it was a struggle, but God is true to His word,
