Buried Alive: Poems from a Dead Man’S Perspective
()
About this ebook
In this collection of poetry, author Warren Stuckey explores that question. He presents the real story of someone who beat the odds, never realizing that his ingrained psychosis was intentionally orchestrated. These verses reveal how a persons streets, family, friends, and enemies all play crucial roles in determining what he or she is capable of doing. In the end, however, each person must carry his or her load; that is where the blame stops and the change occurs. The mind can reboot itself when light and wisdom are found. In these poems, Stuckey seeks to reach out to people where they are, in whatever lives they have chosen, and let them know that their lives matter.
This collection of poetry offer a reflection on the trials one man has faced in his life with the intention of helping others see and understand themselves for who they truly are.
Warren Stuckey
Warren Stuckey seeks to present his speech in an uncensored manner in order to help and serve others. He is currently incarcerated for taking the life of one who looked like him.

INTRODUCTION
I have composed these words to act as an introspective view inside the unfoldment of people who can never be described by the mistakes and judgments of others. We are, as everything in the creation …, "consistently evolving." These poems are my personal apology to the families that I have destroyed because of ignorance. Truly, it is nothing more than that. Had I known who I was, these acts would never have been contemplated. Though I can’t change what the past has fixed by my behavior, the horrendous acts against my own self and kind, however; I hope to show those who will find themselves in the very same position that I was that YOU don’t have to repeat this systematic behavior.
These poems are a reflection of my trial since being incarcerated for taking the life of one who looked like me. Now, before you even begin to say that I deserve no sympathy; know that I am not looking for any. Because the truth is that no one could be more damning than my own consciousness. You don’t know how it feels to awaken everyday with the same thoughts permeating through your head, condemning you for something that you did 22 years ago. A thing so wretched that you would have allowed yourself to be swallowed up by oblivion had you not been privy to a knowledge for such behavior, and that it is designed.
Still, it is very hard to blame others for what you did. In fact, you cannot. But this is not about blame … : "This is about truth!" I hope that mine will act as a fulcrum for your own ability to make decisions. Use my own life’s story to learn what not to do. Know that even a system cannot control you when you have a thorough knowledge of yourself. You have probably heard it on so many occasions, and in a myriad of ways. Nevertheless, it is the truth; the power that manipulates your mind is under your own tutelage. It is as easy as telling oneself to pick up a glass of water. Everything else in the creation works thusly.
And to the worlds people, know that you cannot; ever, define what God has made according to one act. No matter how incorrigible it may appear.
