Chapter 1

The Free Gift of Faith is Dealt to Every Believer!

Has the enemy ever told you that you do not have faith? Have you ever asked God to increase your faith? Have you ever told yourself that if you only had just a little more faith you could reach a breakthrough in regard to the negative circumstances that plagued your life?

My beloved, the good news today is faith is not a struggle. You are already triumphant and God already promises you the victory through your faith. So first of all I would like to prove and confirm God’s promise to you of the gift of faith unto each and every believer.

Romans 12:3

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

This means God did not pass over or skip over you nor anyone else. Every believer has been dealt the measure of faith. A measure cannot be adjusted to the point where it increases or decreases regardless to whether it is a quart, or a gallon. Now because God is no respecter of persons he did not deal me a greater measure or a lesser measure than he dealt to you. God is a wise, just and fair God.

However you are not alone when you‘ve asked of God to increase your faith. The apostles also asked the Lord to increase their faith. In the Lord’s responses, he instructed them to speak to their circumstances and believe when they pray and they shall have whatsoever they saith.

Luke 17:5

And the apostles said, Lord increase our faith.

Mark 11:22-34

22. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

23. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

24. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them

The apostles said unto the Lord, lord increase our faith, but I submit to you the measure of faith that we were dealt by God is more than enough. That measure must simply be developed. In other words we must learn to work our faith, for faith without works is dead.

James 2:20

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

God is a wise, fair and just God and we must learn to work our faith.

Also God treats us all the same. For God is no respecter of persons and he is not unfair. It would be unfair for God to deal to me a cup full of faith and to deal to you a boatload of faith. God will not do that. Again God is fair. He has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Now I need you to take note that the faith that God has dealt is a God kind of faith and is therefore specifically for the people of God and not the unbeliever.

2 Thessalonians 3:2

2. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men, for not all have faith.

Now, how did you get faith? It was a gift from God. The gift was received when you positioned your heart and mind to hear and receive the words of His Son.

Romans 10:17

So then faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the word of God. I submit to you therefore the vehicle that God uses to deposit faith into you is through the hearing of the Word, that is preached and proclaimed. Preaching the word under the anointing breaks yokes and causes the spiritually deaf (one that cannot hear and comprehend the words of God) to hear and the gift of faith to be deposited in the heart and mind. If they continually fail to hear they will eventually be condemned and deposited into Hell.

You might say, first God said he gave to every man the measure of faith and later it states not all have faith. Isn’t that a negation or contradiction? When God said he gave to every man the measure of faith he was speaking through Paul to the church or body of Christ in Rome. In other words he was speaking to believers.

You might say well I am not in Rome. You are in the body of Christ and you are in the Church of God, for there is but one body of Christ and but one Church of the living God.

For this reason, it is critical that you study the word of God that you might rightfully divide His word.

2 Timothy 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Lastly, and most importantly you must consider choosing to try Jesus. You probably by now have made some wrong choices and tried much that the world has to offer experiencing a rollercoaster of highs and lows. Now, since you have tried everything else, why not try Jesus. Let His word take precedence and preeminence in your heart and mind that you are able to comprehend His words and His will for your life.

As a father, you would not leave your will nor inheritance to a stranger. God becomes our Father. He has left His children His will. That will is the Word of God. When you receive His Son, Jesus Christ, His will becomes your inheritance with the inclusion of all his convenant promises. How can you benefit from what you cannot understand or comprehend? How can you benefit from that, that does not belong to you?

St. John 1:5

And the light shineth in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not.

Allow me to share my testimony with you. At a young age like most, I believed in God but I had not developed a relationship with him and lacked commitment to Him.

This state left me with things. I had homes, cars businesses, but no joy, no peace, no contentment and no satisfaction. It was explained to me that due to the horrendous fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, there was a great gap between God and man. Like Adam and Eve we too fell, doing deeds (sins) that were not pleasing in the sight of God. No amount of human effort could bridge such a gap, but God in His infinite wisdom and love sent His only begotten Son, Jesus to the cross of Calvary to be crucified. Jesus became a substitute for our sin redeeming us and reconciling us back to God, bridging the chasm or separation between God and man.

St. John 3:16

For God, So loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

To make a long story short, I chose to receive Him that night and commit to Him. Now I know joy, peace, contentment and I have satisfaction beyond measure.

If you would like to repeat a brief prayer to receive Him and commit to Him He will bridge the gap for you as he did for me and the inheritance will belong to you.

Simply say, Lord, Forgive me of all my sins. I ask you to come into my heart and dwell there. I believe you are God’s Son and that God raised you from the dead and you are alive now. From this day forward I commit to serving you, in Jesus name. Amen.

It is critical that you find a local bible based church to attend. You have just made the most important choice that you will ever make. His way, which this book will share is the secret to effortless success, a utopia of triumphant living, joy and paramount wholeness which now belongs to you.

Remember what you are willing to separate from, determines what God will bring to you and when you desire to receive something you have never had, you have to do something you have never done, like you just did.

Chapter 2

What is Faith?

What is Faith?

First of all, let’s define faith so that we will have a mutual understanding and therefore be on the same page. Let’s begin by eliminating a misconception. Many people think that having faith, is to believe. I submit to you that having faith and believing are two different things. You have to believe to have faith, however simply because you believe does not necessarily mean that you have working faith. Now, as I said earlier God has dealt to every believer a measure of faith but if that measure is dormant or dead than I am not talking about dead faith. If something is dead, you bury it. I am referring to living, working faith. Belief is the first step towards faith but it is not having working faith.

Let’s say in 1990, there was a elderly woman found on the back side of a mountain in the Swiss Alps almost frozen to death. It was a long journey down the mountain side and over the terrain to the nearest cottage for help. There was a rescue team, a first aid technician and a nurse that finally found her there helpless. After carefully examining the woman they told the woman if we don’t get you back to the lodge where we can increase your body temperature in 3 days you will die. As the wintry winds continued to blow the temperature continued to drop as they made their way to the lodge. Suddenly, Genesis the nurse and A.J. the rescue
