About this ebook

YOU HAD PLANS for your life. Had it all figured out, then tragedy hit. Never saw it coming, struck by clear-air turbulence. Life as you knew it changed forever.

I would like to welcome you aboard flight number 316 departing for heaven. As youre finding your seat, remember to stow your weights, hurts, and frustrations. The captain of this flight desires that you have a weightless journey. If you need assistance on this journey, just ask your Heavenly Father, and His Angels will be happy to assist you.

Please be sure that your seat belts are securely fastened, in the event of unexpected turbulence. For we must be braced with the Word of God in the event of clear-air turbulence. Once again, welcome aboard.

Help! I’m Sick, I Have a Heart Condition

I can’t tell you just how much my soul has been blessed! I thank God for you, girl. You have been such a blessing to me, and I sincerely appreciate all your words of wisdom, prayers, and words of encouragement that have been deposited into my life from you. All I can say is, keep shining for him, and let your light shine so that others may see and His name be glorified!

    —Kathy, Flying Partner

Thank you for teaching the class on forgiveness. I thank God for Minister Rema’s vision. Her book and class has set me free from the bondage of bitterness and hatred. I now know the real freedom in Christ Jesus! I can say with victory, I am a winner!

    —Shawn

I want to thank you again for teaching the class on forgiveness. You have no idea how much your words (and your book) have encouraged me to tackle the ‘Goliaths’ in my life. It is essential to one’s growth and development in God’s kingdom.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF MY PARENTS

To my mother. Knowing the reality of her winter is upon us and soon the frail sound of her voice will be missed, I yet believe that miracles can still happen. I pray for her daily, anointing her head with oil, believing God will restore her health.

When I reflect on how she cared for her family, I realize even with greater discernment that her praying and caring spirit, along with her watchful eye, kept her children from a life of destruction.

I wrote these poems for my parents many years ago not realizing that I would share it with a much larger audience years later. I pray that it will be a blessing to you as well.

    WHO PRAYED FOR ME?

Who prayed for me when I was sick as a baby, when the heat from the fever in my body radiated through my pores?

    My momma did.

Who prayed for me when I cried out during the night from being tormented as a child from nightmares?

    My momma did.

Who prayed for me when I didn’t make the cheerleading competition final round but later experienced victory in being a college cheerleader and had the best time of my life?

    My momma did.

Who prayed for me when I was treated unfairly in the workplace and I didn’t know where to turn?

    My momma did.

Who prays for me when I fly the Friendly Skies of United, that God will keep the wings in an upright position?

    My momma does.

Who prays for me when life dishes out unfavorable circumstances and I become blinded by the tears of pain?

    My momma does.

Who prayed for my broken toe bone to heal, and miraculously I felt a healing touch?

    My momma did.

I was once young, and now I am older, and your prayers have covered me constantly.

Who can find a virtuous woman? For she is more precious than gold (Proverbs 31:10).

In you, Momma, I have found what God says to mirror,

    and for that, I
