About this ebook
Todd Hveem
Todd Hveem is an award-winning author who has always gotten a kick out of watching dogs tilt their head, wag their tail, and bark for no particular reason. He loves to put words in animals’ mouths and try to imagine what they must be thinking as they go through their daily routines. In April of 2012, Hveem was stricken with pancreatic cancer. He was given only a short time to live, but he continues to have a bright outlook on life and take life one day at a time. One of the huge bright spots in his life is the relationship he shares with Celtic, who has done and will do almost anything imaginable. He loves sports and spending time with his family. He also enjoys a great game of tug-of-war with the Celtic, the star of the five-part series “Adventures of Celtic.”

My Boy
The first time I laid eyes on Tyler, I knew our relationship was going to be special.
Tyler is only a little boy, but his love for life sets him apart from the rest of the family. His smile lights up a room. His laugh is so full of joy. His sense of humor makes him seem much older than his 9 years.
I was only 2-months old the first time I met him. But we became best friends from the minute he held me in his arms.
1.tifHe just stared at me and petted me. I could see a little tear form in the corner of his eye. I was his first dog. I knew I had to make a good first impression.
"I love you, Tyler,’’ I barked in my loudest puppy voice. I don’t think he understood me, but he just kept smiling.
You are so cute,’’ he kept on saying.
I love you so much.’’
But I noticed he never called me a name.
