Marriage is your idea and is a picture of Christ and the church. Thank you for making our marriage all that you initially intended for marriage to be. We love you with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Lord, it has been by your love and grace for us, your faithfulness, longsuffering, forgiveness, and your covenant with us that we are not and were not consumed, and for that we thank you greatly. Lord, it was your love and compassion for us and by the renewing of our minds to your Word that our hearts have been changed. It was the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of your intent for life and marriage in your Word that changed our lives and marriage and family for the better, forever. Thank you Lord for choosing us, leading us, teaching us, keeping us, and being for us and with us on this journey of love. We walk the paths of a covenant life together with you, each other, and our family.

Oh Lord, this journey of love we share with you and each other has been truly amazing from the beginning to the present. We have had both highs and lows in our marriage and you are there in both, being patient and faithful, and providing us with wisdom and insight to get through the rough places. There have been many storms in our path both mild and severe and during each storm we were tossed, shaken, and made fearful on every side of each storm. Like a ship without a rudder in a storm, our lives and marriage were being pushed all over the sea of life not having any course or direction. Life was happening to us, a young married couple in love with each other, but not knowing how to live with each other. We both were frustrated and tired of having conflicts, both afraid, and ready to walk out on our marriage, but we cried out to you Lord and you heard our cries, stepped in, and rescued us.

Lord, we did not know what your intent and purpose was for our lives and marriage together, so You Lord spoke to us that everything you have for us, we can only receive and get together as one. You Lord taught us that we are heirs together of the grace of life. Thank you Lord, for teaching us in the knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of your Word. We have been able to make it through each storm because of your great love for us and the promises in your Word. Thank you Lord, for The Grace of Life is Our Inheritance. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord, all the days of our lives.

At a time when the Biblical model of marriage is under attack by secular society, and confusion about marriage seems to abound, it seems particularly important that someone raise a standard of celebration of this marvelous institution called marriage.

Estell and Dana Coe have recorded and shared the experiences and lessons learned across 30 years of an eminently successful marriage. Their message is that success is not intended to be the exception, but rather, with God’s blessing, such a model is achievable and can be enjoyed by all married couples who will submit to God’s instructions. They do not pretend that this is easy, or without struggle at times, but they do say that it is God’s intention, that He is interested in the project, and that He is always available to help toward success. They stand firmly on the conviction that God’s way is the best way, indeed the only way, to have fullest joy in marriage.

The book is organized in 30 bite-sized sections of wisdom and experience. Couples, married or preparing to marry, would do well to prayerfully consider together the counsel in this book. We are Heirs Together of the Grace of Life

We address each of these key revelations and more, but mainly focus on the revelation that we are heirs together of the grace of life because it encompasses all the other revelations. We are heirs together of the grace of life and the grace of life is our inheritance! These are awesome promises! These exceeding great and precious promises have been given unto us! We need to claim, lay hold on, and take or receive these promises. To do so, we must take a closer look to be sure we know, understand, and obtain what is ours. First, let’s be sure we are all on the same page as far as definitions are concerned.

Grace is unmerited divine assistance given humans for their regeneration or sanctification, a virtue coming from God, a state of sanctification enjoyed through divine grace, approval, favour, mercy, pardon, a special favour: privilege, disposition to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency, a temporary exemption: reprieve, a charming or attractive trait or characteristic, a pleasing appearance or effect: charm, ease and suppleness of movement or bearing. Inheritance is a legacy, heirloom, tradition, or heritage. Revelation is something revealed or disclosed.
