L Garcia Muro is married with three children, and three grandchildren and another blessing on the way. She was raised in West Los Angeles and now lives in Fresno, California. She wrote her first book "What is True Love in a Marriage", and was published in 2010. She shares that reading God’s words inspired her to express her feelings on marriages. Married over 40 years has also contributed to her insight of many happy moments and the challenges she faced throughout the years. Marriage is hard work and it takes a commitment to stay strong in a marriage. She soon learns that when you seek God in your life and you live by His words God is going to be there for you. He is there to pick up all the little pieces of your life when it starts to fall apart. She explains how writing was never in her plans but she knows that God had other plans for her. Sometimes in life you just have to stop and follow your heart and listen to what God is calling you to do. Writing her books has given her the opportunity to explore God’s words and understand the powerful meaning of true love. Every day she spent reading His words, she learned some-thing new, it is a never-ending story. She has enjoyed writing. She hopes that everyone who reads her words will understand the true and powerful message God has for us all.

In honor of my parents.

I want to say thank you, Mom and Dad, for bringing God into my life and for showing me the importance of God’s holy name. As a child and now as an adult, you have kept our family in God’s prayers.

With this wisdom, you have helped me bring my first book and now my second book to life. Your faith in our Heavenly Father brought me closer to him.

My only regret is that, Dad, you didn’t get to see my great accomplishments, but I know that in spirits, you are happy for me. Mom, I know that you would also be happy for me if your health condition allowed and, now, of your passing.

And to my husband, Raymond; our children, Christine, Gina, and Brian; grandchildren, James, Rayleen, Samantha; and to all my eight sisters, thank you for supporting me. And most importantly, thank you, God.
