    INTRODUCTION

    I T WAS IN 1999, ALONG Oyemekun Street; at Ifako Ijaiye. Overcomers sanctuary under pastor Tokunbo Adetayo had just planted a new parish of The Redeemed Christian Church of God. It was then known as Chapel of Ecclesiastes (Now called Upper room Parish) and Deacon Kolade Adesiyan was our pastor. He selected about six of us and trained us as ministers under him to help with the work of the ministry. As I recall, we were in a meeting after a Sunday service when he instructed each minister to do a write up fit for the notice board for the congregation. No topic was given. We were to write as the Lord led us.

    This piece is the product of that exercise. It never saw the notice board and you would not believe what this piece has been through to see the light of the day.
