About this ebook

This book of poetry describes the different types of suffering and abuse.

My heart goes out to those who suffer severe mood swings due to bipolar disorder. Its crazy how such a disorder can create wonders yet cause so much pain. Poetry saved me in a way that I now have a voice and can be heard. I hope you, the reader, finds yours.

Enclosed within these page not only covers bipolar disorder but describes the struggles of drug abuse, alcohol abuse, PTSD, eating disorders, anxiety, suicide, relationships, and friendships. All based on the opinions of me, a patient with bipolar disorder; I had no medication and did not receive any help prior.

    Unseen - Natalie Grace

    Lives We Don’t See

    Why is life like trash?

A pack of cigarettes never last,

    Digging through the ash tray

    Trying for a lucky break

Soon as you get it blink

    It’s past…

    The man on the corner,

    Begs for change

But not the change you proclaim

He yearns to see his family everyday

But they look to him with shame

So he drinks his pain away

    But everyday

    Stays the same

    The woman under the bridge

    Sells her soul everyday

Keeping her kids hunger pain away

    One things go great

    Her kids are taken away

She becomes lost in her pain

    Injects medicine in her veins

    An empty shell she became

    Free for one day

    She wakes

    Everything stays the same

The boy who stole some bread

Runs as a clerk shoots a bullet

    Past his head

    He runs to the alley

    Here he is safe

A box, a dirty blanket, He lay

    He ran away from home

His foster mom would always say

    The government will pay

    Just to beat you everyday

    He prays for change

    But everyday stays the same

    The girl who hate school

Wonders why, the world is so cruel

    She’s teased and tossed

    Ever since she was four

She was a toy to please

    No matter how much

    She begged or screamed

    It always stayed the same

    The man on the corner

    Jumps the over pass.

    The people saw,

    And wondered

    What had he done

    The woman under the bridge

Saw some kids rob a corner
