Poetry Is the Music of the Soul
()
About this ebook
Poetry is the music of the Soul; yes, this is what Poetry means to me.
As you turn the pages you will find a variety of subjects in here and each one is born from the emotions of Laughter, Love, Rage, Hopelessness
and Happiness. Some are inspired by passion.
There are poems for children and something for Day Dreams and what makes them unique is that they are all true stories of real people.
Come inside take a glimpse, if you dare.
Several of the Poems have been published in National Anthology,
( large hardback coffee table books and they have been given the Editor's choice Award by The International Library of Poets
Betty Bobinger
I was born in September 26, 1935 in Mobile, Alabama. My parents are Raymond and Lucille Greene. I was blessed with 11 children: Walter, Deborah, Donna, Judith, Gina, David Phillips, and my stepchildren, Lester, Larry, Anna, Wayne, and Dean Bobinger. Education: Bishop Toolen High school and South West State Technical Institute. Clubs: Silver Lake Women’s Club, Heart of Dixie Club, Authors Round Table, and President of Women’s Aglow in Florida. My honors are: A husband like Hollis, who is my strength. Eleven children, with open loving hearts; who gave me seventeen grand children to put a smile on my face; who gave me, at 62 yrs. of age, three great grand children. These are my Trophies!!! This was my fi rst work. Since then I have written several other poems and one novel, which I have not as yet submitted for publishing. “HOW DO YOU EMBRACE THE UNTHINKABLE’, was birthed out of the constant throbbing pain within my soul from the loss of my youngest child David. To those of you who have also felt the Anger that comes with the pain of your loss I speak this out ….. This One is for You.
