Linda Wright

Linda C. Wright was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. After graduating from Bowling Green State University, I moved to Florida. I've been here ever since. I married Richard, got a B.A. degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and launched my writing career. The inspiration for my first novel, One Clown Short came from my years working as a manager for a Fortune 500 company. My essays have since appeared in several editions of Chicken Soup For the Soul.My newest memoir, A Bittersweet Goodnight is available now. An extra love and thanks are extended to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing me to live on; to the Advice Nurse, Roberta of Metro Health who was on duty January 6, 2012, and who also advised me to get to ER in the next 4hours; to all of the staff at Metro Health Hospital, from the doctors all the way to housekeeping; and to my Sister Fannie for allowing God to use her to make sure my life remains a living testimony of God’s Love, Goodness, Grace and Deliverance.

This is a true story:

My name is Linda Wright, I reside in Cleveland, Ohio and I am a traveler. I love going to different parts of this great nation, AMERICA.

Every chance, I get I am planning a trip somewhere. God has blessed me to visit 33 of the 50 States in the U.S.A.

As a matter of fact, I had just returned from Shreveport, Louisiana before hurricane Katrina made her debut.

Here I am planning my first trip for 2012. The place of return is California, where I have lived for 25 of my years here on earth. It’s the place where my children and grandchildren live, and it is the place where I want to go and spend quality time with my two blood granddaughters, Shanae and Melinda.

I now have my E-Ticket with United Airlines and everything is fine, so I think and I am just waiting on January 7, 2012.

Not knowing what is happening inside of this mortal body and not even thinking about what King David wrote in Psalm139: 17

How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God!

How great is the sum of them.

MY PLANS

I am a traveler, and every since I turned 40 years of age, God has allowed me to travel the United States of America. I have been in 33 of the 50 States here in the USA.

Well, on December 10th, I had planned my trip for the closing of year 2011. My plans are as follow:

I was going to Detroit, Michigan to visit my Brother David, who was very sick and was admitted in the hospital. My plan was to stay with him and
