I married Richard, got a B.A. degree in accounting from Florida Atlantic University and launched my writing career. My essays have since appeared in several editions of Chicken Soup For the Soul.My newest memoir, A Bittersweet Goodnight is available now. The Joy Of The Lord Is My strength - Linda Wright

    Epigraph (s)

    God Is Able

    God is able

    God is able to do

    God is able to do all

    God is able to do all we ask

    God is able to do all we ask or think

    God is able to do beyond all we ask or think!

    God Is Able Adapted From Ephesians 4:20

    ––––––––

    A smile of encouragement at the right moment may act as sunlight on a closed-up flower;

    It may be the turning point for a struggling life.  Author Unknown

    ––––––––

    Morning Prayer

    So far today, Lord, I’ve done okay. I haven’t gossiped, haven’t lost my temper, been greedy, grumpy, selfish or mean.

    I’m really glad about that.

    But in a few minutes, Lord, I’m going to get out of bed, and from then on I’m going to need a lot of help. Amen.

    Morning Prayer Author Unknown

    ––––––––

    Have courage for the great sorrows of life

    And patience for the small ones;

    And when you have laboriously

    Accomplished your daily task,

    Go to sleep in peace.

    God is awake.

    Victor
