Our worst enemies are those we least suspect, ourselves
. That was the statement said by one of the world wisest man that ever lived (Ivan Panin). I can now safely says that I agree with him. They say prevention is better than cure
. That is true but when you have lived long enough, you begins to understand that in life there are circumstances you may find yourself in but with no control over them. No matter how wise or clever you may be, you’ll find that they can’t be solved in a day.

What is the dark side of life?
What a question, well we all know that darkness and light are opposites. And darkness appears when light disappears. And darkness disappears when light appears. So darkness is afraid of only one thing, light. We see this when nature is taking its course. When the Sun (which is light) sets, we see darkness approaching slowly waiting for the Sun to set fully then it will cover us all and make earth its home until the Sun rises. Human beings have no control over darkness nor the Sun. when it is time for darkness, we cannot vote it out or postpone it. We even can’t do any means of speeding up the process. It is the way God created it. No one can see clearly in the dark with naked eyes. It doesn’t matter in the house or outside. Thank God for Benjamin Franklin, Michael Faraday and others who first came up with a plan of a way of generating light which is Electricity which is now an alternative worldwide. Electricity lights inside the house and a short distance outside.
But when then the Sun rises, that’s when we all see that electricity was just an alternative and Sun gives us true and real light. If you can understand that about nature then it will be easy for you to understand that life sometimes takes us through these two stages of light and darkness. When life is bringing you light, you get comfortable, living in the moment. Being comfortable is good but when you get too comfortable that’s when the problem starts because you forget that the dark side of life is just around the corner. When life is good and you have all you ever wanted or life is promising you good or best things. You get too excited and have this feeling of happiness inside you which is not a bad thing. But mostly you forget to invest just in case dark side strikes. What kind of investment am I talking about? money? No, when God gave us life He also gave us principles. So life will only respect a principled person just as God does not show favoritism. Don’t get me wrong, it is good to have good things of which you rightfully own. Everybody wants cars of big names, big houses and to own a big company of which you can leave a legacy for your children.
Or being married to a good person and grow old together. Or just to meet there right partner and start a relationship which will lead to marriage. Or to be an artist, travelling the whole world doing what you do best. Or to be a child who is receiving the best education and end up like your parents, working in a big company earning huge amount of money. Everybody loves those things. It’s just that these things I just mentioned don’t happen to everyone every time. Don’t make a mistake of thinking that some people just don’t want to have good things in their lives. Even thieves wants to have good material things in the lives, maybe that’s why they steal from people who have those things. Even a person who was in a marriage that led into a divorce wants to be in a marriage that lasts forever (even if he or she was the one who was unfaithful). Some even say they don’t care about God, being full of alcohol because things are going well. That’s not a good idea, and I call it being short sighted. When you have good things going in your life then you are in the bright side of life. It cannot be a good idea to laugh at people who don’t have what you have especially when you don’t control your tomorrow. When things are always not working out for you, you are always crying. And your heart is filled with sadness. Maybe you are only left with one parent who is not earning any money and the breadwinner died and you say life is unfair. You must know life has no fairness or unfairness. Life has a bright side and a dark side. It is not within our power to choose which side we want to be in. but just imagine if maybe it was a choice, do you think anyone would have chosen the dark side? I don’t think so and neither do you. People love good things, even those who are in a bad space. People who are walking on foot (pedestrians) wish to drive their own cars and they have this slogan of saying one day is one day
. People have this undying wish of having material things in a way that they will never wish for
