TAKING BACK AMERICA
The reasons for me writing this book are two-fold and they must each take place before the other can happen. First of all I want to restore this nation to be the godly nation that our fore-fathers set it up to be in the very beginning. Following are a few things I would like the people to know to help them understand that this was once a godly nation.
In the:
Library of Congress—The Ten Commandments
U.S. Supreme Court—Moses
Ronald Regan Building—The Ten Commandments
National Archives—The Ten Commandments
The White House—John Quincy Adam’s prayer
The Library of Congress—Ignorance is a curse of God
The District Court—Scriptures
The Washington Monument—Praise be to God
Chapel in the U.S. Capitol—George Washington praying
Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Address—The word God
throughout
U.S. Currency—In God We Trust
I am sure there are many more places where you can find God in our national background. I am so saddened by what has happened to this country. I believe that the ACLU is the culprit but the government has allowed it to happen. They have allowed the word God
to be taken out of our schools, where it cannot be spoken out loud. How sad this is and it just breaks my heart. This will be covered in chapter nine.
The second reason for this book is to restore this nation back to the design and purpose our forefathers meant it to be. My question is this, Does the government of today even come close to resembling the government designed by our forefathers?
I think they would surely turn over in their graves if they could see this government we have today. I heard a talk show host say Forget the Declaration of Independence, the people should just do what is right.
I think he was wrong on both points of his statement. We must keep the Declaration of Independence on our minds at all times for it tells us what to do with a government like we have today. As we strive to take back our country, let us examine some of the things I have taken from this very important document.
"We hold these truths to be self evident. That all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness." Do the people running this country think we are equal to them? I think not. We do have life for what it’s worth. What liberty we do have is slowly being taken away. Are we happy? From what I have been seeing and hearing a lot of people are not happy.
The Declaration continues, "Governments are instituted among men during their just powers from the consent of the governed. It goes on "Whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it and to institute new government. And further on,
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations pursuing invariably
