Chapter XVII–In my Opinion
I am writing this book in memory of all the soldiers who gave their lives for a belief in God and country. Also for all the men and women that have become disabled fighting for what they believed to be just, so that all Americans can enjoy the freedoms and liberties that we have today. We are a caring nation and have a belief of always helping those in need, so let us not forget what this great nation stands for and our commitment to always help those in need.
In a profound way this book will reach out to the American people to show them that we are underseige, not from the other countries but from within our own over-zealous and corrupt government. We must be diligent in our fight to combat those that are striving to take away our beliefs, liberties and most of all our freedom. God bless America and what it stands for.
Acknowledgement
I would like to thank all the good people who in many different ways, contributed to the efforts and ideas that made this book possible. Such people as Stephen Borodemoss, John Borodemoss, Adrien Dias, Lee and James Caldwell, my sons Gabriel, Raul and Victor Bernson Jr. whom I have had many political discussions.
The various news agencies, the internet, talk shows hosts such as Bill O’Reilly, Glenn Beck , Shawn Hannity , and Russ Linbaugh who have been a source which presented many common sense
ideas and thoughts, along with my own.
All the little people whom I have talked to, too numerous to mention names but believe me, I really appreciate their views, thoughts and feelings. My wife who has had put up with my frustrations and verbal viewpoints of how our government has deteriorated. The corruption and pilfering of TAX dollars from the American people has become BLATANT and just plain Thievery.
I thank each and everyone of you, with a very special thanks to Lisa Borodemoss.
Introductions
Being the first attempt to put into writing my feelings concerning my government, I hope to reach out to all Americans, especially the little guy or as we are referred to as the common people
. In an attempt to make you aware and hope you pay more attention to the actions of your politicians in government.
Our fore fathers set forth the Preamble
, the Bill of Rights
, and our Constitution
so that we would have a government for the people, by the people. However, our check and balances have eroded; we now have a government for the politician, by the politician.
We have let our government get too big, corrupt, selfish, and self-serving with their own financial greed.
In an attempt to bring to light a host of facts and events concerning our political leaders, I hope to make all American's (especially the little guy's) blood boil and say enough is enough.
Over and over throughout history we have seen that when government abuses it's' people it will eventually FAIL. Our fore-fathers laid the foundation of this great nation and tried to put forth something we could be proud of then and in the future years to come. Unfortunately, when politicians and leaders get out of control, as did Caesar, Hitler, Saddam Hussein and may others, we get failure.
What makes people abuse others? We know greed and power to control others has always existed, but why?
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that, neither do I have a solution. However, I know its what drives politicians into destroying governments.
In today's world we have an enormous ability to reach out and touch every American through our majority of communication outlets; T.V., the newspaper magazines and of course the radio. We also have of course, our over embellished Hollywood bigots. Many of these so-called stars, try to convince us that their foolish, naive or just plain stupid opinions are the ones that we should believe. Everyone tries to convince the American people how to think and what to believe.
All I ask the American people to do is apply common sense to all issues.
In this book I am going to try and cover our government, the media, Hollywood, and of course the over-zealous activists, to a point of trying to figure out who is Foolish, Naive or Stupid. Maybe it's the American people and they should get more involved with our political agendas, instead of believing in the people I mentioned above.
I believe because of this last election and this admin-istrations policies, we need a stronger leader and real leaders to take care of our young men and women in uniform, if they intend to send them off to war to protect the people and this country.
War is a terrible thing for everyone, especially the little guy, however, when the United States sends its' young men and women into battle, by God there should only be ONE objective. We should put the fear of God into our enemy with all our resources to win and bring these young people back home.
These young people do whatever our government and commander-in-chief request, unequivocally, because they fight for their friends, family and the good people of their country. They believe in helping make the world a place where people can live together and tyrants and dictators will be a thing of the past. (The last sentence was a wishful thought)
Hopefully by bringing many of these things into the lime light, the American people will start holding all politicians and their government accountable and require them to be much more transparent in what they do.
The American people should rise up, voice their opinions and tell Washington politicians and its bureaucracy, enough is enough. Put term limits into practice and make everyone enacting policy, have to abide by the same rules and laws they make the American people do. They should lower taxes and be accountable for the foolish spending of tax payer's money and their pet and pork projects.
Chapter I
The Government,
Hollywood and the Media
So where do I begin? How much have I seen in my many years and how much have I witnessed in the change of our government and its policies over those years; some good and some ridiculous.
What I am going to try and do throughout this book, is look at all that has happened from my perspective as just an ordinary American, like the majority of people in this country.
In my opinion the three words describing our government actions today, are embedded as; are we Americans Foolish, Naive, and/or just plain Stupid to believe that our government has our best interest in mind.
Let's go back in time, when our forefathers created our government, with all good intentions of making a country separate and better than that of what they had in England.
People flocked to our shores for a better life, freedom from tyranny and being controlled. A government was established for the people, by the people and, by God, it flourished. They created, worked and expressed their views and thoughts to make a better life, because there were no limitations on their ability to think and create.
Then the government grew. Laws, rules and taxes, along with many restrictions appeared, some good, some bad. As time went on government grew and became bigger and bigger until we have what we have today, a government out of control. In fact it is so big and so expensive to run; we the people are pushed back into the shadows, as if we don't exist. The size of our government is bigger than many countries and from my view intends to get even bigger. The government controls our every move and tries to quiet our objectives and questions of what they are doing to America. Our fundamental rights and freedoms are slipping away and our objections and questions are met with comments from politicians who say we are an unruly mob or they know what's best for us. Even though these politicians don't even read the legislation that they enact.
The two parties that we have running our government 1) Republicans and 2) Democrats are so big and powerful that other parties are insignificant.
The politicians who get elected, (some start out with good intentions to help the people they represent) soon become caught up in the bureaucracy of Washington. They no longer have the people's best interest in mind and become greedy, self centered and think they are above the law. The once good intentional politician, is now part of the establishment, with all the benefits that we regular people will never see and don't even know the many gratuities that they do receive. They now live in a different world than we do and their society and way of life is untouchable. They raise our taxes to keep us in check and control our lives, so they can live high off the hog. The more they impose on us, the more they control us and every
