Preface
The Healing of the Spirit
is inspired by Jesus Christ the only true great physician. It is my prayer that these words will profoundly influence your hearts, minds and souls towards a more meaningful spiritual life. These writing come to you from the Scriptures, historians and those patients, teachers, nurses, physicians and pastors who have brought joy into my life while working in His service. I have been blessed by each of you who have touched my life over the past fifty years. For this I am truly grateful.
Healing
The word sounds simple but there is a hidden meaning
If we try to process on our own something’s missing
There is great power in prayer with Jesus as a mate
If we’ll only learn to include this Physician so great
Is it really all that easy? you may say
Of course not! We are really a sick nation today
We have neglected those things that God had giveth
And decided that we know better, what a laugh!
Every great healer understand where the power is
It’s always from above, from the Great I am and His
Son the remarkable Son of man who walked this earth
After God had promised the messiah at Jesus birth
If we are to restore ourselves to wellness
We need to set right our spiritual wholeness
That’s the first order in this healing plan
This will bring miracles by the Son of man
Two Blind Men Healed
While Jesus performed many miracles and healing
From place to place He walked learning of the feelings
Of many a Jew and Gentile and one day as he was leaving amiss
Two blind men came: Jesus said Do you believe I can do this?
The reply was Yea Lord, we believe this to be true
Jesus touched their eyes According to your faith be it unto you
Instantly their eyes were opened and they could see
But Jesus instructed them; Let no man know it was me
But just like any human they spread abroad his fame
And soon all the nations had come to know His name
But the Pharisees thought perhaps He was evil
How could the son of a carpenter cast out all those devils?
Jesus traveled to many cities and villages teaching
His Word and the Gospel of the kingdom through His preaching
He moved with compassion throughout the masses
Asking God to send Him many followers for His classes
The Classes
For those of us who teach it seems endless
Trying to incorporate healings into the masses
Though we are inspired by the Spirit to do so
Sometimes it is difficult to get people in the know
Healings are available at very little cost
Especially for those of us who seem continually lost
We must learn to surrender all to our maker
Then and only then will the giver be the taker
