About this ebook

Introducing my first book, Life, Love and Other Stuff. This book contains bits and pieces of life and love in the form of short stories and poetry. Some of these stories are 'lead in's to other books which are already being written. You will find some of my writings to be funny and poignant. The poetry will tug at your heart and may take you to a time you had forgotten existed. Others may rouse emotions long hidden. Allow yourself to let go and remember. Truth thrives in light, not darkness. Remember. Pass it on!

    Kjell Anders Tovander

    October 18, 1987-November 16, 2008

Kjell was a strong, brilliant light, a rainbow of color, that shone through life like a beacon to others! His life was lived with honor, humor, a quiet spirit seasoned with a bit of a secret scamp that only a select few saw. He wanted most of all to go into the air force and become a pilot but his vision was too bad for him to pass the test. So, he signed up to enter the Navy as chaplain support. But he stepped into a bright new world before he could step forward for his country. He stepped into a world where his vision no longer kept him from flying. So . . . now he can fly!! His dream is now his reality.

    MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

    Kjell’s Walk

A child of four I played with Him,

Their name for Him my imaginary friend,

Though real to me, He was you see,

For I’d reach for Him and there He’d be.

Then I turned and I was older,

Now I spoke and now I was bolder,

For by my side still He walked,

My ‘Imaginary Friend’ with whom I talked.

The years have quickly come and gone,

    But still
