    Introduction

First of all, I want to say that I am a Christian.

I never dreamed that God would carry me through with much grace and forgiveness. I was his child.

Even when I disobeyed him, he still loved me even when I didn’t have the courage to love myself.

God had taught me so much in my life. Forgiveness has tough me that forgiveness he’s strengthen me when I didn’t know the strength I always had down deep in my soul. There were times I questioned him why; I even turned my back on God, and for this, I will always repent. After all, life is a first-time run, and we don’t get any redos in life—one chance to get things right. Sometimes we have to relive over and over the same mistakes until we learn from it. In the last decade of my life, I can see God’s plan unfolding in my life. This has showed me that God lets me go through bad things to teach me so much. Sometimes he lets me go through things for something I don’t always know the answers. But I know with everything in my soul and heart that God’s grace will carry me through storms in life. No matter what I’ve done, God will always love me. So with this, I start my book by narrating the miracles and spiritual things.

For without my God, I wouldn’t be. Thank you, God, for all you’ve blessed me with. I pray this book will lift you up and bless you, but most of all, it is to show you that God’s grace and love is very real.

    Acknowledgments

First of all, I would like to thank God for all he’s given me—the gift of writing and all he’s blessed me with. I would also like to thank my husband for his support and help. Without Donald’s help my dream of publishing my book wouldn’t be possible. I would like to thank God for my friends—Ada, Glen, Scott K, Sandy, Sherry, and her son Mark—that were really there for me in my time of need. God sent me angels to help guide me in the path of healing and support. I would also like to thank my daughter, Victoria, and Chris for helping me in naming my book. I would also like to thank Mrs. Karen Rose, at the time a teacher, who made a difference in my life. She would always say, Karla, you can do anything you set your mind to, you can do it!

They were my inspiration as was Donald. Thank you, Donald, for the cover picture.

    Chapter 1

    When God Speaks

My grandfather had a church years ago. I was about sixteen years old. I kept praying God to save my parents. I didn’t pray any special prayer. I’ve always prayed all my life. I just pray in my heart, and I pray.

And I speak to God daily; I speak to him like he’s walking right beside me because he does. I had been going to my grandparents’ church. I kept asking God all week to show me the sign that it’s he who was talking to me. I kept praying that over and over. God, I want to know with all my heart and soul that you are speaking to me. Give me a sign, so I will truly know it’s you speaking to me and not me just thinking that I hear your voice. I went to the altar as I always did when I was so burdened down with.

My parents were getting saved. I prayed at the altar, Please, God, save my parents. God, I don’t want them to die and go to hell. Please, God, I love my mom and dad. So as I was crying with my eyes shut, I saw a bright blinding white light. I
