True Art of Poetry - Hedgens Hyppolite

    Stay Inspired

    Goodbye

As the wind howls, the moonlight is radiant and reflects its light on the water.

    What do I see?

    A glimmer of hope.

    Love.

How can I save you, if you don’t want to be

    saved?

    I see you

but I don’t want you to be seen.

The skip of a stone into the water.

Ripples of the past are shown.

Teardrops from my eyes. An utter of a whisper.

    Goodbye.

    Sorry

Sorry, I should’ve loved you more than I did.

Sorry, for the broken promises I left you with.

I wish Love was more than just words I had for you.

    Good was never good enough.

Sorry, you were more confused in making bad decisions.

Broken hearts is what led us to have

    a distance.

Hurting me wasn’t your intentions. Sorry, for being the one I left behind, and not trying to fix it.

Time heals all wounds, is the reason why I left you behind.

Wish I can forgive you for the mistakes you’ve made.

    I’m sorry.

    Scars

I gave you a heart, to the world it was frozen,

and you broke it. Gave you my faith, you replaced it with a love so fake,

in which it made me hopeless.

    I wanted the sun,

you cut my wings to watch me fall.

    I called out your name.

    No answer.

Scars are lessons which make us stronger.

    Was it worth it?

    Pain is Life

    Life is spinning
