Chapter#10 Home

During the ride to drop off the girls, Ryan and Joe were both texting each other about how great their nights were going. While Jade and Bella were still living it up, singing all the songs that came on the radio. As the limo pulled up to the curb, rolling into a slow stop. Aight girls, it's time for y’all to go. I hope y’all had a great time. We will see y’all tomorrow at school.

Looking over at the shock on both girls' faces they both looked at each other and burst into laughter. We are just kidding ladies. Of course, we are both going to walk y'all to the door. I mean one at a time anyway. said Joseph.

Yeah, we want to make sure that you both have privacy. We are all best friends here, but me and Joseph don’t share everything together replied Ryan following his friend's lead hoping to reassure the ladies that they too wanted to end the night on a special note too. 

Eager to tell her mom all about her night Jade asked to be let out first. "Gosh I can’t wait to tell my mom about tonight, it was absolutely amazing!  Joseph, thank you so much for making this night fun for my girl. She deserves it.

Thank you for checking those pigs for us. I really appreciate it, said Jade as she was walking towards the door with Ryan holding her hand pulling her forward.  Jade come on, and leave our friends alone, he ain't gonna do nothing to hurt your girl. Just like I’m not gonna do anything to hurt you. As Jade and Ryan approached the door, Ryan began to pull Jade close giving her a hug. Yo, Forreal I had a great time tonight Jade. Thank you so much for being my date. I hope this isn’t the last time we are going to hang out together."

Me too and I hope tonight was only the beginning of a great friendship, said Jade.

I'll text you before I go to bed, said Ryan to Jade, as he was slowly walking away backwards towards the car with a huge smile on his face. Opening the door and turning around trying to maintain her composure she replied okay, cool! 

Back in the limo both Joseph and Bella were watching their friends as they said good night to each other. Aww, that was so sweet. My man really likes your friend. I really like you too. You know since like the 2nd grade I’ve had a crush on you. Mesmerized by what Joseph was admitting to her, Bella began to blush.

She was happy that she had dark skin because she would be fire red if she had any other skin complexion. Still not believing that she was sitting in a limo talking to Joseph Bella could not believe this was her life at that very moment. Knocking on the window and opening the door, Ryan held the door open letting Bella and Joseph out of the car so they could walk to the door. Bye Bella, Bella, tell your friend that I am definitely feeling her, so I can get some more cool points, said Ryan jokingly. Dude, calm down,said Joseph laughing at his friend while closing the door. Your girl got my friend all in love and stuff. Said Joseph. 

As they said goodnight to one another, Bella turned to open the door. I know you're not going inside without giving your boy another hug, said Joseph, hoping to get one more hug before she left.  Turning to face him again, Bella pulled him close, giving him a nice long hug and kiss on the cheek.  See you tomorrow at school, he said, closing the door behind him. Standing behind the door in shock, Bella said to herself, I can't wait to write a song about this, when I get home!"

Chapter #11 The Day After The Dance

The next morning the girls, as the girls were being dropped off at  school they couldn’t help but notice something was different. Okay, girls see you later, I am glad you both had a good time last night, Said Jade's mom, when she dropped them off at the courtyard. Shutting the door as they got out of the car and began making their way through the courtyard, they noticed everyone staring at them. Making their way into the  school building, they both walked to their lockers.

Feeling like they were being put on display they saw two roses on the doors of both their lockers. Feeling warm butterflies flutter inside their bellies, they both smiled as they grabbed their roses and began walking towards each other. Meeting next to the Library they began walking towards their first class. See you in Drama class Bella, said Jade, as she skipped and hopped with joy. 

Watching her friend  as she skipped down the hall Bella’s heart filled with joy seeing her friend this happy meant the world to her. While skipping, she saw Ryan meet up with her towards the end of the hallway. Greeting her with a gentle hug and
