Chapter 1: Almost To Cousin Vallo’s Castle

On this beautiful autumn afternoon, a carriage rides on a dirt road surrounded by autumn trees and farmland. Princess Lauren with her puffy long brown hair, autistic mind, and her brown eyes tiresomely looks out the window hoping the carriage will stop soon. Lauren’s family does not seem to notice that she is bored, so Lauren decides to climb out of the carriage and onto the roof with her light blue parted skirt flowing in the wind. As she pushes herself onto the roof and got a good grip, she looks around for something to do, or someone to see.

A farmer’s son named Galvin looks up from his work. He couldn’t believe his purple eyes. It was her, his childhood best friend! Without a second thought he yells Princess Lauren! Lauren who was looking at the scenery looks down at him and in an instant knows who this farmer’s boy is. Galvin! Lauren exclaims. Galvin drops his rake and runs up to the couch, and helps Lauren climb down.

I didn’t think I would see you here! Exclaims an excited Galvin.  Princess Lauren shyly explains that she’s going to her cousin’s place, and probably won’t be coming back for a number of years. I’m here with my father and uncle. I’m helping them with the harvest. Galvin said nervously. The smile. Lauren grabs something out of her skirt pocket, and reveals it to Galvin. It’s one of their friendship bracelets they had made as kids. Galvin grabs his out of his pocket, it’s the match.

Princess Lauren’s Mother, Queen Olivia, noticed Princess Lauren was not with her family in the carriage. She looks out the window and sees Princess Lauren standing long behind the carriage talking with Galvin. She smiles then calls out to Lauren Lauren!
