Untrodden Path is a fictional book. it is full of bilingual poetry, prose, oneliners, and stories. just like an unused path, which people rarely choose and to go through that path need courage, determination, faith; we do things with are tough, they may lead us to success or maybe we fail but we will never remain in guilt; the guilt of not trying. This book is filled with these couraging thoughts.

Sanjana Gupta, with pen name of Sanjh. She is a writer by passion and a student by profession. She is a student of Optometry at the King George Medical University Lucknow. She hails from the city of Mau (Uttar Pradesh) and likes reading, sketching and articulating in verses. As she is a medical student, she believes that words are therapeutic to the soul the way medicines are to the body. She believes in the importance of art and literature in shaping a society. ख़्वाहिशों की दुनिया में

ख़्वाहिशों की दुनिया में हक़ीक़त की आस रखते हो,

बेख़बर मालूम पड़ते हो फरेबियों पर विश्वास रखते हो।

बेपरवाह सी दुनिया में सबकी परवाह करते हो,

फिर रोते हो बिलखते हो मन को उदास रखते हो।

मरु मरीचिका देख पानी की तलाश करते हो,

ऐसी भी क्या नासमझी शफ़क़ की क़यास रखते हो।

मज्मो में रहते हो फिर भी तन्हाई पास रखते हो,

कैसी रुसवाई है जो हुज़ूम से हिरास रखते हो।

मरीचिका = mirage

शफ़क़ = horizon

मज्मो = crowd

हिरास = fear

लाल गुलाब

मेरी क़िताब के उन पन्नो के बीचों बीच रखा वो लाल गुलाब

अब दम तोड़ चुका है,

पंखुड़ियां मुर्झा गयी हैं,

मानो उसे भी हमारे अलग होने का वियोग लग गया हो।

उसका वो सुर्ख़ लाल रंग अब मटमैला हो गया है,

पर उस गुलाब में कुछ है जो अभी भी बाकी है,

वो भीनी-भीनी सुगंध,

जो अब भी उस किताब के हर पन्ने को महकाती है।

ठीक हमारी उन खुशनुमा यादों के एहसास की तरह,

जो आज भी हमारे चेहरे पर मुस्कुराहट दे जाती हैं।

The moon in the sky
