The morning had been wonderful. Almost perfect. I had worked a short time on some business investments, then spent the rest of the morning sitting and reading in my favorite chair in my living room with the view that looked out over the city of Las Vegas and the Strip beyond. Didn’t come much better.

My afternoon I had planned to spend in my bikini in my beach cabana at the Mandalay Bay Beach pool. The afternoon promised to be warm enough. My evening was still free, but wow what a perfect day I was having, so I should have expected something to go wrong.
