This is dedicated to pain and suffering.

Without you this book wouldn’t be possible.

    THE BARD

I sing of the Bard who travels to many lands. In my wake there be minstrels, canto, and tales long lost.

I am a man of knowledge and utmost wisdom.

Sword on hip, lute in hand I voice a lay of ancient times when the Celts respected Nature, holding dear the life of our Mother Goddess. Her law is the only law, in which the Druids gave order to the land.

It is said they be descendants of Atlantis. Spiritual leaders they be. Healers of the earth. Traversing with wings of air. Purifying water with a blessing prayer. Cleansing the world with druid fire. They be pure of heart, have wisdom of mind, and balance the soul with both enlightenment and endarkenment.

Ogham staff, crystal grace. Runic oracle of past, present, and future fate.

I lament of Cuchulainn son of the sun god Lugh. He fought an army of men single handedly, the greatest hero of Ulster.

I praise the Tuatha De Danann, people of the Goddess Dana, the last race of deities to rule Erin, Ireland, the emerald isle. Where the ancient Pictish people dwelt before the Celts.

I speak of fairy folk, whose kind have always helped us in our time of need.

Ghosts such as the banshee who haunt our forests and castles, wailing their songs of sorrow.

The unicorn roams the woods and dales, enchanting life with its magical horn of pure divinity.

Demons prowl in the night preying on the innocent.

Dragons fill the sky, breathing fire upon their enemies, who bring strife. Magical and fierce creatures they be. They live the fianna, warrior's code of honor.

Elves protect the lands with their holy arrows of magic to scorn the dark of heart.

Gargoyles made of stone perch on tower walls during the day. Then when night falls, they come alive breaking free, spreading their wings wide in flight.

History is a mystery that cannot be defined. Only lived through the memories of the human mind.

Brave knights ride their gallant steeds into battle, waging war on enemies of the realm.

Seek yer own righteous Self of Divinity within yer soul.

Call me Ovate, for I bring the prophecy of all mankind. Still, we have not learned from past mistakes. We must change, or we will disappear out of existence like those creatures before us.

Hail me as Druid for I walk between the worlds of darkness and light. I travel to the Otherworld and back. I commune with the spirits of the dead. They be our Guides and Guardians to help us on our journey through hardships. I shall teach of splendors unheard of by humankind.

I be the Bard who has just sung to you an ancient triad of truth, nature, and knowledge.

    LABYRINTH

    Trapped in this maze,

    I am to praise,

    The insanity waves.

    Place of importance,

    I have a warrant.

    There's no way out,

    The corridors look the same.

How am I to get out of here?

    I must use my sword,

    To hold off the horde.

    What way shall I take?

    Left, Right, Die.

    What way will they come?

    When the fighting is done.

    Help me survive my mind,

    For I must find,

    The line in the sign,

Is the only way for the blind?

    To read the minds,

    Of our kind.

    I'm caught in a web.

    I'm stuck in a vice.

    I slay the troll,

    To take its roll.

    Watching the eyes,

    They laugh at my cries.

Knowing my fate in the end,

I must make my way in,

    To the center to win.

    Depriving me of life,

    Filling me with strife.

    They have no right,

    To take the light.

    Will I ever be free?

    To express my creed.

    Surrounded by walls,

    All I do is crawl.

    There is a white room,

    where I'm chained to.

    There is a window,

    Where I see riddles.

    I'm in a labyrinth,

    With a sabbath.

    The devil is mine,

    With an evil mind,

    You bloody swine.

    So, don't drink wine,

    In my mind.

    THE PRICE

    Come with me,

    To the sea.

    You will see,

    The hate in me.

    Blend in the wind,

    I am the wren.

    So, you can't win,

    Against your sin.

    Come crawling to your master,

    Your heart beats faster,

    There will be disaster.

    Everything is the same,

    When you play the game.

    There is no change,

To the range of the stage.

    So, pay the price,

By the roll of the dice.

    We will slice,

    When trapped in a vice.

    That is the price,

    Of your life.

    INNOCENT BLOOD

    Innocence;

    The purity of air.

    Innocence;

    The purity of water.

    Innocence;

    The purity of earth.

    Innocence;

    The purity of fire.

    Innocence;

    The purity of the soul.

    Innocence;

    The purity of the blood.

    In the starlit sky,

I heard a woman scream in fright.

    To the woods I went

    To save the innocent.

I came to an old road,

    Low and behold,

    A man in black,

    Trying to rape her.

    Rage swelled within me,

    Fire burns in my eyes,

    I unleashed my fury,

Tearing away the flesh of my quarry.

There was terror in his eyes,

    Before he died.

    The evil subsided,

    I feel triumph.

    The woman is weeping,

    Her tears sear my heart.

    I kneel beside her,

And hold her in my arms.

Others have tried to defile her,

And there will be many more,

    It has been so,

    For many years,

    And will go on,

    If something is not done.

"Thy give ye thee gift of virginity,

    O' savior of mine.

Please take thy life's crimson wine,

O' beloved guardian of innocent blood.

May its purity give ye great strength?

That way thy death shall have meaning,

As yer seed fills thy womb.

Only then will thy know peace."

    I did as she asked.

I held her lifeless to my chest.

    Anger,

    Sadness,

    Hate,

    And pain overcame me.

Her voice and beauty touched me deeply,

As dearly as any living being possibly could.

She now rests under a noble elm tree,

Deep in the woods by an old road,

    Protected by nature forever more.

I weep for her soul in which I hold,

In my Norse crystal of old.

I am keeper of innocent blood.

May the gods forgive what I have done?

For she was the woman I loved.

    MELTDOWN

    Burn;

A flash turns night into day.

A fire burns with no flame.

    Incinerated death,

    Blackened bones,

    Charred earth,

    It's a desolated land.

    Share their fate,

    Twisted minds,

    Swirled words,

    Spiral hooks,

Deep in the flesh of hate.

    Holocaust;

A fiery wind on the horizon.

    Disintegrating everything in its path.

    Breathe deeply,

    Nuclear heat,

    Scourging the land.

    Nothing but silence,

    The earth is barren,

    The air is dry,

    Absence of water,

    The end is crystal clear.

    Acid rain,

    Everything done,

    Was in vain,

See the pain of the insane.

    Are you ready for another?

    Meltdown.
