The Monster Keeper 

It is deep down past Dusty Bottom Road. It looks like the beginning of civilization. The place is Monster Ville. It is where all the monsters live. Sometimes the gigantic monsters bully the little ones, and the short ones outsmart the tall ones. It is a place where Gaddis, the monster keeper, rules in this never-ending story of the monsters.

All monsters are not big. Some of them are small, but they come in large numbers. It’s so many small monsters that it does not make a difference, for they are still frightening and can do as much damage as the gigantic monsters. Sometimes the small monsters wiped out an entire village. This story is not about the small monsters.

Remember, all monsters are not ugly, for some monsters are pretty and have long, beautiful hair and pretty eyes. The first clue that they are monsters is their tales. And so pretty monsters have three tales. Often they hide the tales under their clothes. Pretty monsters wear nice clothes just like everybody else. And when they show their tales, you had better watch out. The first tale will cut you. The second tale will whip you. Finally, the third tale spits fire.

This story is not about pretty monsters. However, it is important to know about them because often they are the most dangerous. Gaddis is the keeper of the monsters. His job is to keep the monsters in Monster Ville. As long as the monsters are in Monster Ville, you would not know that they exist. In Monster Ville, the monsters
