Her first book "Sold into Slavery: The Story of Adaku" addresses the effects of African slavery and its consequence for one woman and the people who surround her. Preface:

In this collection highlighting ghostly haunts across Africa, you will find just about a little of everything to sink the chills down your spine from the mischievous and sometimes murderous goblins to haunted houses with their own distinct ghosts.

After all, Africa is a lively country filled with culture and a deep appreciation for nature. They know real secrets right there in the hinterlands, and some who do make things happen with those secrets that are not too nice, do it without a second thought. And that is why goblins are born and they come in all looks and guises, all designed in a way to please your take. You have money spinning goblins which will make you rich, goblins which will get you the one you love, goblins which will take revenge and sometimes kill the ones who cause you too much distress and then again, goblins get really bored sometimes….

And when they get bored, they get nasty and they start their own pranks, many of them disturbing, annoying and plainly showing the nuisance they've become. And then they become a problem as you will soon see. The problem is sangomas (African witch doctors) want to be rich and so they do magic that are not so right with nature under their control and that magic allows them to make goblins for an exchange of wealth. But if there are bad witch doctors, there are also good ones and those good ones work hard to undo the works of the wicked ones but the truth is there aren't enough of them.

Then there are beautiful mountains, gorges, forests and vegetation which hold so many secrets and so many ghosts…like Table Mountain for instance where you will read about the poor little boy who was holed up all because of leprosy and then left to die. He was not lost however. He died with a flute that gave him enough to last him for an afterlife and since then, his music has been heard playing the most melodious tunes ever. You can find him if you look hard enough and maybe, if you try even harder, you might just find that magic ring…

Ever heard of Daisy de Melker? She is one person who was a tough soul to crack. She was South Africa's serial killer and black widow, and she loves poisoning people. Well, Daisy was quite the celebrity she was at the turn of the century and someone who probably has a rather strong spirit because after she was long hung in Pretoria, she still continues to haunt many of the places where the last years of her life were spent. She is one ghost no one messes around with! Been to her house? No one lives there any more and if you linger around, you might see a hand push the curtains by…

Then of course there are the familiar stories told about hitch hikers who like preying on unsuspecting people. They hitch a ride, then walk into your car, stay there and say nothing and then they disappear right before your eyes. Sounds scary? Well, some people have had unpleasant meetings with these mysterious phantoms. Hitchhiker ghosts can really testy but there's one ghost people in Zimbabwe say will never stare at you and in fact, give you a good time. It is a ghost called Peggy and men who leave nightclubs in the late hours of the night have never forgotten her.

And that's just a part that will stir you up. The rest are still yet to be told like Rudd House. The family lived there for many, many years and then one day, they just decided they had enough of the old house. Yup, the house frightened the family away. Some say it has got to be the
