Marie Josee surrenders into the abundance that is available to all. She feels that wherever we are, the flowers are already around us! She likes to say that embodying the eight attitudes described in this book has brought her feminine-wholeness by expressing her desires, sharing vulnerability and living her sensuality. Holding her inner smile, anchoring heaven on earth. Gratefully being and living the gift, trust, passion, creativity, love, joy, wisdom, sacredness and full potential. She invites us to simply relax and slow down into our natural being, trusting in life, breathing love and living our soul-path with grace and pride.

Anchoring Heaven on Earth - Marie Josee Smulders
Anchoring heaven on earth
The artwork in this book was created by Vanessa Jane Smith, (craftingconnection.com) whose work un-taps and revives the creative in all organisations. The qualities and values of the feminine are the qualities and values of the artist. Today more than ever, the artist (& the feminine) in us all is being called forth to address the imbalance we have created globally. Artists are visionary; artists are remembrance; artists bring us back to our humanness. We are all artists!

Intro
At Being at Full Potential we believe in a world where every human can BE at his or her Full Potential. Practically this means living into what we call the 8 Being Attitudes
. When these attitudes become ingrained in our daily practice amazing things are bound to happen. Of all the people I know, Marie Josee consistently embodies these 8 attitudes in everything she does. She is a living example of what it means to BE at Full Potential.
When we first met I remember Marie Josee as somebody brimming with ideas, sourced from heaven, but sometimes struggling to make them land on earth. At the time she looked to me as her translator
. Apparently I could sense into the energy she was carrying and translate it into words and stories that were more accessible to others. I enjoyed it and I was happy to serve the greater good in this way.
As time went on though, I could see Marie Josee grow, not by adding more layers of knowledge and experience, but by peeling away layers of conditioning and self protection. I witnessed Marie Josee go back to a pure state of unknowing
, one that is filled with wonder and awe. In this state of Kidfulness old patterns and beliefs like: I’m not a very good writer
or my English is not good enough
transformed into an unstoppable flow of creativity whenever she put pen to paper. It’s as if, one day to the next, she became the writer that had been living deep inside all along. Since then a number of book projects are underway and I have had the immense pleasure of observing this particular one from up close.
If living into the 8 Being Attitudes is the pathway to expressing our immense Human Potential, then this book is a lively and colorful account of one person’s fascinating journey into the depths of each one of these 8 Attitudes. Although there is a universal nature to them, there are also infinite ways in which they can be expressed in the context of a person’s life. May this book be an invitation to ignite the 8 Being Attitudes in you and to inform the next steps on your Human Potential journey.
Enjoy!

Preface
by Sujith Ravindran
The Universe operates at its full potential when both the feminine and the masculine energies are fully expressed. This is true for any entity in the Universe, be it a family, community or an organization. We know that when a family misses either the masculine or feminine, it gravely impact the wellbeing of the adults and affects the mature development of the children. Communities that have the active presence and engagement of both the masculine and feminine energies thrive well.
Why is that so?
When the masculine and the feminine are both present, the present and the future come together. People-orientation marries with purpose-orientation. Intention and manifestation expresses side by side. Vision dances with play. And that union of the masculine and feminine leads to the Universe being at full potential.
Inversely, when either of the masculine or the feminine energies are missing, the universe collapses. People who have been part of it leave. With that, the ‘being’ leaves as well. The universe spirals into chaos. Tension and anxiety becomes its norm. Nowhere is this more evident than in today’s post-war organizations. Most institutions of the industrial age have been built solely upon the might of the (sometimes egoic) masculine. Masculine qualities like determination, fierceness and daring are traditionally rewarded in such institutions while qualities such as sensitivity, gentleness and patience are disregarded. Those who can compete and excel against others are promoted while those who practice connection and equity are overlooked. Being assertive over being inviting is often valued.
This general ‘unwelcomeness’ of the feminine into organizations has triggered a serious reflection about what it means to be a woman in the workplace. We see a significant number of women leaving large organizations. Other women leave their natural selves and imitate more masculine traits in order to be recognized and be rewarded. A very small percentage of women challenge the culture within their organizations and strive to make them a more inclusive space for the feminine.
More recently, on the part of organizations, there has been more calls for inclusiveness of women. Quotas are assigned for encouraging more women in the workplace, and reservations for certain posts are common place. Yet, organizations unconsciously expect these women to act like men. We have ended up equating sameness to equality. The casualty of this equation has been women. Women have either been forced to forego their feminine essence in order to play the game successfully, or quit.
We at BEING AT FULL POTENTIAL recognize all this. Hence in early 2017 we made a commitment to advance feminine leadership in the institutional world. For us, this mission is more than just promoting gender parity within organization. It involves holding space for women to be their true feminine selves unapologetically and lead from that spirit.
We encourage, motivate and reward women to show up as themselves rather than imitate masculine behaviour in order to be recognized. We are on the path of creating training programmes, retreats and coaching for women to embrace their authentic selves. We listen when our elder women share their experiences and the timeless wisdom of the feminine. In fact, a group of distinguished women from within BEING AT FULL POTENTIAL have stepped forward to model their feminine leadership.
Marie Josee is one of them. In every word and action she shines the radiance of the feminine. In her presence it feels like a gentle breeze of grace and welcomeness that blows. That is how Marie Josee leads as an example in our lives.
The eight attitudes elaborated in this book are levers to unlock more fully your infinite Human Potential. These attitudes are very personal yet universal. Each day, thousands across the globe use these levers to develop themselves. Marie Josee lives and breathes the essence of these eight attitudes.
And that is the success of this book. If you are looking in the book for some gambits, you are bound to be disappointed. This book is not some borrowed theory that you often find in book stores. This book is the total sum of all Marie Josee’s experiments with her inner feminine. If you immerse into it to sense into the energy of the feminine, this book will transform you.
Thank you Marie Josee. Sujith Ravindran,

Introduction
This book has been a spark in my heart for a long time, and I’ve finally decided to fan that spark into a flame. I knew that I wanted to share my journey with the world, and perhaps help people begin their own journeys to authentic beings. I have poured into this book, all my gratitude for allowing myself a life-long journey of self-exploration. By exploring and reflecting on my whole life, as if it were a film reel, I regained so many insights and could more easily embrace my full potential being.
Here, I want to tell you dear readers, that my full potential being also includes my imperfections. By knowing myself in the whole spectrum and amassing that information, I saw that the biggest challenge was my own need to be perfect.
This demand for perfection was holding me back from the flame, from dancing with life playfully.
This was one of the obstacles that I had to overcome while writing this book. My desire was to write a book in English so it reaches wider audience. I am from the Netherlands, and my written English is not very creative. I can communicate efficiently, but I wanted my words to carry the sacred light that is within me.
When you read this book, you will come to know the power of allowing your vulnerabilities to surface. I made the choice to express myself in all my vulnerabilities and to feel space and freedom in my whole body. And all at once, the words came to me like a flowing river, as if I was supported by Universe. As if the Universe understood that I am alright with my imperfections and decided to reward me for opening up to possibilities.
My life is quite peaceful; my days filled with helping myself and people around me to reach their authentic being. I am living my soul mission with light, love, and joy.
But, it has not always been this way. My life’s journey has been filled with hard work and tough challenges that have made it so abundant and simple now. And so, I felt called to put my life on paper. My hopes for this book are that the women and men who read it should live their lives with grace and pride at an earlier age than I discovered the possibility of this state of being.
My whole life I have longed for a world that works for everyone, where they enjoy their gifts, and where we find space to discover awareness, inspiration, abundance and a way to serve for the greater good.
Even though my English was not perfect, I studied and read lots of books. I listened to the words of wise men and women. That served me, but none of that brought me to the state I am in now.
For me, the greatest invitation and the biggest challenge was to listen to myself and to honor who I am.
I had not learned to dive into the unknown parts of myself when I was young.
So, I put everything and everybody out of my mind and started alone and in stillness. That place for me was nature. A new place without people so that I could give birth again to who I am in essence.
It is a place where I allow myself to let go from within.
When I traveled alone to Peru and India, I needed my body language to express myself in a new way.
It was lonely but also beautiful to be aware of myself. It gave me wings of freedom, and for the first time in my life, I did not need any validation from other people.
I was happy with each moment, simply experiencing my beingness. It can be compared to rebirthing, from feeling like a baby and then rapidly growing into an adult, and now after some years, into a mature feminine leader. I became the women I always dreamt of not by doing but by being who I am and by being true to myself with all my beliefs, values, vulnerabilities and integrity.
As I restarted my life, encouraging myself to share and express my desires without any expectations, my life received more abundance than I ever thought possible.
This approach from my inner being allowed growing in such a joyful, playful and simple way that every day I felt like a child who was discovering the world and enjoying life in the moment. I also found the space I needed to take a pause to go within, helped by people who believed in the full potential beings.
The founders of the Being at Full Potential Organization, Mark and Sujith, gave me the space to shine.
Empowering others is how I serve best, and I finally experienced an inner freedom where the light of my soul could shine.
Self-realization starts from within, a cyclical process that begins and ends each moment, with each breath, every day and every night.
I was radiating even more, by practicing. My conversations and coaching sessions were finding deep resonance and purpose with people.
Life was so much fun, and at that moment, I sat down with a notepad and started writing. I dreamt of writing a book for people who could then experience what I have learned so far.
Writing is not my biggest gift, and I was not sure about how to begin. So, I asked for help. In a conversation with Mark, he suggested writing about the eight attitudes that I practice in my life.
By nature, I am somewhat of a chaotic person. I discovered that writing gave me the structure I needed, and writing about the attitudes that I practice, my awareness of self grew.
Sujith is another anchor in my life who helped me connect with a ghostwriter and a professional editor. With their help and this co-creation, this book
