Deep Energy - Mariane Weigley
Dedication
I write to educate the mind.
But I speak directly to the soul—the hopeless, the unwanted, the tossed out, the ones who ran away, and the ones who hid.
There is information, validation, and support here for you.
Life is worth living.
This book is for you.
Acknowledgments
I want to acknowledge several people for helping to make this book possible.
First, thank you to my writing team, especially my editor Barbara McNichol who contributed many hours of her expertise to make this book reader-friendly, clear, and concise without losing my voice. I’m grateful to Peggy Henrikson for her proofreading skills at the final stages. Thanks to Shannon Bodie for the cover and interior design. Her professional level of expertise is greatly appreciated.
I sincerely thank my writing group established at the Maui Writers’ Retreat and Conference where we met in 2007. Janice DeCovnick, PhD, and Jamie McMillin, both authors in their own right, have contributed countless hours to making my chapters better. Their level of emotional support goes beyond words. That’s what a good writers’ group can do! A special thank you to Sam Horn from whom I have learned so much and to Sharon Castlen, my publishing and marketing consultant. Input from both were much needed to make this series happen. Without all these women, my books could not have been written.
I also want to thank Marilyn Carroll, Margery Sinclair, Karen Schmidt, and Elizabeth Yost for all their support and words of encouragement.
I am deeply grateful to each of you.

Foreword
By Jo Ann Cooper, PhD
Deep Energy is a deep, ever-evolving narrative of Mariane Weigley’s healing, growth, and empowerment.
Healing must occur for each person to feel safe, peaceful, harmonious, and strong. As Mariane states, emotional and spiritual wounds can heal just as a physical wound does. One must look inside. When safe to do so, most people, in my experience, see blackness that feels sticky and murky, even dangerous. When a person first starts to look inside, the inner child may feel very small and weak. As healing occurs by cleansing the darkness, the emotional/spiritual wounds that are cleansed can be replaced with color and, above all, peace, harmony, strength, and safety.
This book is the result of being able to heal and grow. Mariane came to trust her gut and she flowered. Readers of this book can also use Mariane’s experiences (stories) as springboards for healing.
It can happen for you, the reader. I have witnessed it many times with wounded people who are stuck in darkness and negativity. Healing CAN and DOES occur.
GO FOR IT! Move forward and trust the healing process.

A Note from the Author
October 2018
This second book has been the harder in the Abuse & Energy™ Series for me to write. It goes deeper than the first book, Abuse & Energy . For me, it was a necessary step in growth. Like a child learning to crawl goes backward first and then forward, so it was with this book. I had to step backward. And I had to go deep. My personal story is indeed long and complicated—but it’s a good read and worth your time.
By reading about my steps, perhaps yours will be easier; you won’t have to go backward so far or go as deep to do yours. Growth may come to you easier simply by reading about my journey. Life is like that, and it’s all good.
Book 2 describes the part of my journey coming back from my reaction to trauma—dissociation. It is a book about releasing: what it is, why it is important, and what it can do for you. While Book 1 documents the trauma I experienced, Book 2 reveals indicators of coming together—of releasing that trauma—through numerous stories that show how to restore one’s self. Book 1 features lots of personal stories; so does Book 2. Though some stories may seem stranger than those in Book 1, they are here for a reason—to show we are the sensitive energy light beings we are.
This book is divided into two parts. The first part, The Dive, tells more of my story and gives more energy teachings. It explains many of the ways we release. It goes deep into areas of unprocessed grieving that can cause economic harm as well as personal harm within a person. In Chapter Six, I tell my story of how my primary unprocessed grieving came out, allowing me to begin to Rise and leave my reaction and disempowerment behind. You’ll notice the writing gets lighter after Chapter Six.
The second part of the book, The Rise, begins with yet more of my story and how to Rise. The remaining chapters address what helped me and will help you to release whatever is necessary to resolve dissociation and eliminate the disempowerment it causes. I also noted many of the ways I actually disempowered myself. I learned about them when they ended or began to reverse themselves. These chapters are about growth and development and what to expect in this evolutionary process so you, too, can Rise.
To enhance your understanding of specific terms used in this book, read What Key Terms Mean at the end of this section. And to better understand Book 2, Deep Energy, it’s my hope that you’ve read Book 1, Abuse & Energy. In case you haven’t or you need a refresher, you can find Recap of Book 1 at the back of this book. Although it isn’t necessary to have read Book 1 for a meaningful and enjoyable read, doing so will add to the story line for you.
Welcome. I am glad you are here.

The Road Back—Releasing Built-up Energy
Never underestimate the Power of the Universe to heal, fix, and mend . . . namely, to heal, fix, and mend you, me, and the planet.
My road back has been long and arduous. The emotional abuse I experienced and my reaction to it caused me to become stuck, and that was an energy problem .
I didn’t know I was stuck. I do now. And the reaction I experienced was solely mine. Deep inside, I know how I created the reaction. I know all the ways I protected myself. And therefore, I am the only one who knows how to dismantle them—through an energy solution. Energy was at the root of my personal problems. And energy was the solution.
In my journey fueled by following my intuition, I have learned to ask two questions, both calling for a simple Yes or No answer. The two questions are:
1) Will I ever regret knowing/doing/asking (fill in the blank) ___________?
2) Will I ever regret not knowing/doing/asking (the same as above) ___________?
Even though
