Ace & Quavo - Siren
Ace
A ce, don't cut that dope with so much baking soda.
King, my father, spoke to me as I texted Kevin. Kevin was one of my dad's workers and he was at another trap house. He was older, like twenty-four, but he was the closest thing I had to a brother and he ain't never came at me on no weird shit either.
I rolled my eyes as I pushed the baking soda to the side and pulled the brick of cocaine closer to me, using a large cake scraper to break down the white substance.
Daddy, I need a couple of party favors.
Bitch, this dope ain't for you, this is for business.
And how you expect me to get through four dates back to back? How you expect me to fly if I only got one wing?
My dad took a deep breath before back handing his bottom bitch sending her to the floor.
Bitch, who the fuck you talking to?
My dad shouted as the woman coward on the floor. Ace, give her two grams.
Daddy fixed his collar before walking off to back of the house.
Thank you, Ace,
Gigi spoke as she bent down to snort the coke up her nose.
No problem,
I said non-nonchalant. This was my life. My father was one of the biggest pimps in Kansas City along with being the plug. Daddy was involved with so much illegal activity that I couldn't keep up. But that was my father and I knew nothing different. My dad had never worked a 9-5 and my mother, Kastasia, was his bottom bitch before she got killed by a john when I was twelve. While daddy didn't mind pimping out everybody and their mama, I was not about to be out here selling pussy. King didn't play that shit and his baby girl would never have to sell her body. He had a large enough stable for me not to and even if he didn't, I would never be out here trapping.
I continued to cut up the dope. It was Saturday night and one of the biggest nights for a hoe. So, the trap house was buzzing with hoes and johns. Every ten minutes someone was knocking on the door looking to either buy drugs or pussy. I’d rather be here in the mix of the underground world of crime than at home. There was no way that my dad would shit where he slept.
How I look, baby girl?
Gigi asked me as she spun around in her short, lime green dress.
You got some powder on your nose,
I pointed out.
Aww, shit. I got a date with Councilman Tate, you know how he like me looking,
Gigi spoke about one of her biggest clients. If it wasn't for Councilman's Tate love of hookers, I would’t have gotten my gold color Benz for my fifteenth birthday.
Knock Knock
That must be him.
I thought about the new Js that was coming out next week and I saw a Gucci watch I wanted at the mall. Gigi, go fix your make-up. I'll tell him you will be out in a minute,
I replied. She walked to the front door, as I secured the dope and locked the dope room. If I didn't learn nothing else, I learned to secure the bag.
I could feel it in my soul that something wasn't right. Hi Councilman Tate.
I smiled.
Hey Ace, is Gigi ready?
Councilman Tate asked but he didn't smile, and his hands was shaking. That's when I saw ninjas running toward the door. I was certainly King's ace in the hole as I slammed the door in Councilman Tate's face.
One time!
I yelled as I ran to make sure that all the dope was cleaned up.
What?
My dad came running to the living room with his pistol.
Councilman Tate is the Opps!
I spoke breathlessly as the police demanded for us to open the door.
Get the dope baby!
My daddy shouted as he kissed me on the forehead as he clocked his gun back.
I was running off of pure adrenaline as I ran to the back of the house. There were hoes and johns everywhere as I went to the dope room to hide the kilos. I worked fast as I could as I heard the front door coming off the hinges.
Everybody get on the ground!
The feds yelled.
Shit!
I locked the door of the room to give myself some more time. Even with gun shots being fired, I still shoved the dope into the safe. There was a keypad on the door and the police would have to blow the door down. At any given time, there was at least ten keys of cocaine in the room. While hoes were a big portion of my father's lucrative business, it was the cocaine that had us living like ancient kings. It was like winter time in the Alps as the room had so much cocaine and I was nowhere near able to get all the cocaine hidden into the safe.
Before I knew it, the door of the room was being blown off. I could give two fucks as I hurried up and closed the safe. The police didn't give a fuck either as they threw my underage ass to the ground. Once they slapped the handcuffs on me, they dragged me to the living room. I knew not to say shit, snitches deserved death.
As soon as I got to the living room, the carnage was too much; I seen Gigi's limp body on the ground. I began to frantically scan the room for my dad and I saw that half of his head had been painted on the walls as he was slumped over.
No!
I cried as I tried to get away from the officer that was trying to lead me out the door. Daddy! Daddy!
Ace is such a unique name,
the new foster mother spoke as my social worker introduced me and bounced. The bitch didn't stick around to see if I liked it here, to see if they were worshiping Satan or nothing.
Here I was, a broke bitch, an orphan, and now a foster kid. I wasn't too happy about my new environment. Everything seemed so nice and perfect, like a damn TV show. I had dealt with white people before. Some of my father's biggest money makers were white dope addicts, hoes, and johns, but to be under their roof was something else.
The foster mother known as Lindsay, seemed okay but the life I lived, no one could be trusted outside my daddy and he was dead. I didn't need no damn mama either and if this Lindsay person thought we was about to be on some mother/daughter shit she had another thing coming. I also heard of the mistreatment of foster kids and I wasn't having it. I was that bitch. King Spade had taught his daughter how to survive and not to take shit from nobody. I didn't know how other foster kids fared, but I wasn't the one to fuck with.
Ace
A ce, this is Tyresha. Tyresha, this is your new foster sister.
I didn't like Lindsay's introduction. Last time I checked, I was an only child and soon as I got the chance, I was out this bitch.
I didn't know what was up with this Tyresha bitch. She looked like a foster kid. The bitch had on all hand-me downs and Goodwill gear. She looked to be my age and under all them ugly clothes, Tyresha could be cute. She wasn't as dark as me, but she was still pretty. While Tyresha was a honey caramel color, I was black and beautiful like the ace of spades. And just like the card, I was the top bitch, the winner and the jewel of the deck. But I wasn't feeling like that since One Time had ruined my whole life.
Hi.
Tyresha smiled all goofy.
Hi.
I didn't even crack a smile. So, where is my room?
I turned to Lindsay.
Oh, fudge cakes! Of course,
Lindsay spoke cheerfully.
Lindsay led the way as we went up the stairs. Here we are.
She smiled as I realized there were two beds in the room.
Who's bed is that?
I questioned. My daddy had over twenty hoes and I have never had to share shit, including a bedroom. Them hoes would be sleeping on the roof before I had to share my personal space.
It’s mine!
Tyresha smiled as she plopped down on the bed.
I didn't respond as I rolled my eyes.
Ok ladies, I'll leave you to get acquainted.
Lindsay headed out the bedroom. As I lugged all my luggage to my side of the room.
So, Ace where are you from, girlie?
You do know you are black, right?
I looked at Tyresha. I mean, your fucking name is Tyresha and you acting like a white bitch.
Tyresha didn't even speak as she just let her mouth drop.
You got some weed?
I asked, not caring if I offended Tyresha's green ass. The bitch was square as fuck and I already knew that I was going to be running the show.
Uh, no. So, why are you here? Where's your parents?
Tyresha questioned as she changed the subject.
I didn't want to tell Tyresha all my business. I didn't know her like that, and I didn't want to. My father had been only dead for a few days and the shit hurt like hell. I wanted to break down and cry, but I wasn't raised to be no punk. So, I would have to shed my tears in private. Dead. The punk ass Opps killed him.
What about your mom?
Some punk ass nigga that didn't have all his money, killed her. What about you?
Well, my mom is a crack addict. My father is as well. They were unable to take care of me.
Tyresha looked sad.
Oh.
I felt awkward. I didn't know what to say and simply followed up with a Damn, that's fucked up.
I let Tyresha have her moment as I began to unpack my stuff. So, what is it like here? Lindsay be tripping?
No, she is really nice. There's three of us now, including you. Me, of course and Chynique.
I didn't get along with bitches. My daddy always told me that either I lead or roll solo. And if this Chynique was as square as Tyresha, I was really cool.
Is that right?
Yeah. Wow, Ace, you have some really pretty things.
Tyresha looked at my designer threads. How did you get the name Ace?
Damn you nosy.
I plopped down on the twin bed to take out my clothes. My dad's name is King Spade. I came out chocolate as muthafucka and one of a kind and so I'm Ace Spade.
That's what's up. I think that is real cool name.
I didn't even speak as I just forced a smile and continued to unpack my clothes.
Ace
Ihad to let my
