Introduction
A hard working guy that started out in the streets around the wrong crowd, was given a second and very last chance to do right by the judge as it was a close case for him to not go to jail and serve time. He has now worked to rehabilitate himself. Amongst doing that, he has a family and community that has accepted him. There’s only one problem, an old friend of his past was released from jail in the mix of his lifestyle change and he comes across him. He wants to bring him back into the lifestyle along with others. What will he do? Will he turn back? Will he lose his family and others? Tune in for an exciting, impactful, heartbreaking story.
Film opens up with the music playing and showing sites of the city for about 2 minutes or so and the parking lot before moving into the courtroom. This time should be allowed to introduce the stars in the movie.
Opening Scene.
Opens up with Mike being in the court room and the case about to come to a verdict. He is in there with his family, grandmother, and Mouse is in the stands. The crime he supposed to have committed was being involved in a murder he did not commit.
Judge Downie:
Receives the verdict from the bailiff from the jury.
All rise, after 2 weeks of deliberation the juror has reached a verdict.
In the Case of Micah Truell Verses Williams. (Judge Downie),
The jury has found defendant Micah Truell innocent in this case.
Woman spectator of the Williams family:
Murderer
Another spectator:
How? Judge how can you make that decision
Woman spectator:
Lunges over towards Micah
Micah’s family reacts:
Back up, back up
Security:
Grabs the two women coming towards Micah’s family
Next, they grab Micah and reminds him to relax, he just got found innocent
Frantic, chaos happens in the court room
Judge:
Telling the girls, they will be held in contempt and Micah too
Guards control them and escort them out of here
As the security guard is walking Micah out, the news reporters are asking him questions
So
Micah, how do you feel about the case?
Micah:
I feel good
The following week he was summoned to come meet with the judge regarding his future actions.
Micah:
Receives letter to the mail to come meet at Judge Downie’s office. And now what?
Marie:
What is that?
Micah:
Letter to come back to meet with him.
Marie:
Now what have you done?
I’m coming as well.
Snatching the paper from him, quickly skims through it.
Micah:
So, what does it say?
Melissa:
Daddy, Daddy, runs towards him...
Micah:
he starts to tickle her and ask questions about how was her day at school?
Melissa:
I had fun, I learned how to write an essay today and the importance of grades
Micah:
That’s great, that’s right, make them good grades so daddy doesn’t have to pay for all that college tuition
Marie:
I heard that
Micah:
I’m just saying she can get that scholarship money
Marie:
Oh, I see nothing bad, but he wants to meet with you by yourself, no attorney, no future time, seems like he’s concerned with your future actions
Melissa:
Looking as her Stepmom reads the letter to him
Micah:
Grabs the keys, I’m headed there now
Marie:
He will be there until 6 today, no speeding Mike
Micah:
I got you babe, Le-Le be good
Scene forwards to Micah pulling up to the courthouse and going through the process of getting into the courthouse
Guard:
Allows a lady through, tells her to go to the secretary in
