Love is accepting a flaw worthy of exchanging for yours.

The things you hate you learn to ignore.

For kisses so sweet and eyes you adore.

The level of intimacy God created you for.

A gift from heaven you open each day.

An aging love that soothes the pain.

Placed by the world and intended to stay.

But a hot summer love melts it all away.

Love is accepting a flaw worthy of exchanging for yours.

And just like this poem, it leaves you wanting more.

Thank you for teaching me how to patch up my wounds.

because I’ve got many from trying to reach the moon.

Your wisdom alone reveals the goddess in you. And I’m thankful to God for blessing me with you.
