Love Lost, Lost Love

This is a composition of my feelings and thoughts over a fifty-five-year period .The ladies I loved and cared for deeply, and I still feel for them. I believe love never dies; it only weakens a little. But in the back of your mind, you never forget the good times and bad times that have brought you to these later years of thought. I was married twice. I know what youre going through with a broken heart and loneliness. I can sincerely say I have walked in your shoes. Sometimes its a blessing and sometimes its destiny, but we all know the hurt and sleepless nights with tears. My advice to you would be to write it all down in the night when your alone and slumber doesnt come. God bless.

Attended Elkmont High School in Limestone county,Alabama.Worked in Law enforcement and Supervision with General Motors. Before I could graduate from Athens College I had to go back to Calhoun Community College at the Huntsville Campus to take a class in English Lit and this is where I fell in love with Poetry, Short Stories, and plays. I began writing in 2013 but really didnt get serious until about 2014 that are when I began writing regularly. Since my life had been in such a turmoil in marriage and the everyday misfortunes that I faced ,one way that helped me with survive was to write it down and very soon became poetic and along with my short stories I became a regular writer and enjoyed and gained much more knowledge and skill in my endeavor. This has became one of my enjoyable pastimes and to let other people know ,there are many ,many people who feel pain and hurt from past relationships and the lonesome life .But a happy ending is waiting within their grasp.Carpe Diem !

A Beautiful Lady with a Heart I Cherish

A breath of fresh air  has come to me.

A Dream With my beauty Kiss your heart good bye because it is mine now.

Is the compassion still there as it once was?  Is the love still there as it once was?

Beautiful dark eyes look at me, can you see the hurt and the emptiness from not holding you

Carpe Diem  Don’t waste time, reach out, receive it, touch it; don’t let it leave your grasps

Darlings look in the mirror and tell me what you see

Don’t look away keep your eyes on us

Floating down old Elk River

How many have you loved and felt their lips against yours. Was their love stronger than mine; were their lips warmer than mine?

I love you I can tell you now, our love of old have come

Grace, Jesus did it all!

Growing old and in graying times your friends began to fade and only loneliness fill the void.

Harbor Life will be my life and there I will think of those ladies that brought love to me

Are you waiting for the right words for me to speak?

Oh baby my heart yearns for your touch, it’s been so long without holding you

It’s been a long, long time since I saw you my love.

I awoke from my restless slumber and the hour is 4:30, it still dwells in my thought’s

I can feel your sweet love as we waltz in the twilight

I can hear the birds singing outside my window as I try to awake

I’m done, I’m through, you can’t hurt me anymore, I don’t love you can’t you see

I have prayed in different times in my life for my creator to take me

I know time will pass and people will change but what state?

I love you; we must come together and be happy as of one.

How can my love grow any stronger when I’am already beyond the end of no return?

I thought you were special, and a dream for my loneliness

If you want to see lonely, go look in your mirror and you will see us.

It’s four o clock early morning and I am looking out into the darkness as I ponder things on my mine.

The world is upside down,

The pain was bad but I endured while you were gone from my life

My brother don’t glory in your endeavors or your intellectual capacity

The sorrow has left me since you came along

You’re so wonderful I can feel your love and so far away.
