People are Talking…
Dr. Theresa Scott takes us on a most compelling journey, a description of the twists, turns, ups and downs that life will present to us regarding this experience we call "life."
As much as we all desire to live a "perfect life," encountering stops, delays or detours are symbolic comparisons explained in this book and are inevitable. In life we are presented with moments when we are mesmerized by love or even blinded to an extent, but the moment revelation causes our eyes to open to the reality of a false sense of love, we find ourselves encountering hate as it arises like the toxic smoke of a smoldering volcano.
Dr. Scott’s ability to narrate an explanation as to how the opposites of common emotions or experiences can influence our daily lives and how we make life decisions was extremely intriguing.
One of the most captivating moments was the extracted comparison between Friend & Foe. In this chapter you discover the vulnerability of bringing a friend into your life with a heart yielded to 100% trust. The moment the trust meter is decreased by Friend’s oppositional behavior, Foe arrives leaving a stain on the relationship.
The Journey is a must read for women from diverse backgrounds or cultures. We all can identify with each twist or turn the journey of life brings our way.
