Working Out of My Cocoon - Megan Johnson McCullough
Introduction
I
’ve surrendered my mind to God. We were not made robots; we are gifted to think for ourselves. The mind is a curse and a blessing. I woke up one morning before the alarm, a rare if not never occurrence. The daily devotional I read that morning, first thing as always, discussed releasing your mind to God. I shouldn’t try to fit God into my plan or create a nonstop plan all through the day. I heard God’s voice that morning. First, the word cocoon

My mother was the balance of my family and now she has found her healing grace with God at rest.
When I wake up, I wake up to go to work and start working out. My addiction to working out is on my mind always. Put it all together under God’s direction, and I discovered my calling to write Working Out of My Cocoon. It’s a lifelong process of healing. But why fifty-five again? That day was national poetry day—fifty-five poems. The dots connected; the plan under God’s guidance was to start writing poetry. He knew it was part of my healing. God is so
