Nanton has earned a Master's degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Writing.     Hello, reader! You’ve decided to pick up this book. I will tell you what you’re about to experience in this collection of poetry. Poetry must be evocative, thought provoking and it must hold up of some kind of mirror - black or otherwise - to the real world. Not every poem satisfies the requirements that I just listed. The poems in this book are made to make you feel something, to create questions and to be captions on photos of your reality.


    I call the collection Psychedelic Mixtape to pay tribute to the psychedelic counterculture, along with the art and music of the 1960s. In addition to the hippie counterculture these poems are inspired by my life
