Dedication

This book is dedicated to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who is the Seed of Love. Without God in my life, I could not produce anything of value. Because of the love of Christ, I can plant seeds of love and produce fruits of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. God makes all things possible.

Introduction

Giving honor to God who is the head of my life. I am pleased to introduce a new book of poetry entitled Seeds of Love. Just as my first book 10 Ways to Survive a Valley Experience encouraged readers to continue believing in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so will this one. Seeds of Love is birthed out of the learn to love principle which I believe is the key to living a Christ centered overcoming life. We all need to be sowers of love, compassion, and kindness. As we represent love in a hateful world, we realize that all things worked together for good. If we love one another as Christ says love, then we will be a representation of the Love of God. When you look for perfect people to love, there is no one who can be found. Jesus is the only perfect One because He is God in the flesh. In the bible times and currently people make mistakes, but God still uses us. Jesus is the only perfect one and we need Him and His help to produce good fruits. God waters our seeds of love that we plant into the lives of others and He gives the increase. To God be the Glory. Worship Him!

Worship Him

What does God want? What does God deserve? He wants us to worship Him for Who He is. We are His creation and the sheep of His pasture and must worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Worship comes from a heart that is purely seeking God for everything. Worship comes from a heart washed by the blood of Jesus.

Do it for Him

Could this be possible?

Could this be true?

We do good works, but forget about for Who

We can be doing something good, something great, and according to God’s will,

Yet not be doing it for Him

Many people do God’s will, but not for Him

Many people do God’s will and do good deeds, but not for God’s glory

Egos, self-motives, greedy for money, applauded by the people, blinded by popularity – star-struck eyes and prideful in disguise

Just too many hats, just too much to do

Another different story and we are playing our parts

But there is only 1 star in the show, 1 captain of the ship, and 1 pilot on the plane

Two cannot be #1 at the same time

God knows, many people do His will, but not for Him

You did the good works, but didn’t think about God

You fed the hungry, ministered the gospel, sing and praise, gave to the church,

fasted and prayed and all those things are very good

But I examined your heart to see what I would find

I wanted to know if you will still praise Me when no one is around?

Will you still come if you are not the leading role in the show?

Will you still serve if no one gave you thanks?

Your heart is like a deceitful maze,

You zig this way and zag that way, Please come back to Me!

I am that I am, I am everything you need.

Align your heart, thoughts, mind, and will with Mine.

Let Me lead you, Let Me be your guide, Let Me be your King

I say, Lord, you are right, You are my landlord, Fix me, Fix me, please.

You be my desire and let everything I do be for You.

You are the Bright and Shining Star,

I am just a reflection of Who You are.

So, I bow myself down and give You the crown.

I’ll seek you first,

And whatever I do, I’ll do it for You!

Worship

Worship is acknowledgment of someone or something greater than ourselves

My worship is reserved for God alone

Those who worship Him must do it in spirit and in truth

True worshippers give everything to God,

All that they own.

God created the world with the same hands that He made you and me

Worship is a heart thing,

With thanksgiving we thank Him

For everything belongs to Him

He lets us use His oxygen freely

Worship is a holy thing, and it’s no false love

We truly worship Jehovah because all of our help comes from up above

Worship is a righteous thing

God is always righteous and does what’s right

Worship is a valuable thing, because the devil wants to steal it

So, don’t ever worship anyone or anything

Our worship belongs to God!

God, I worship you with songs of praise

God, I worship you with tithes and offerings

God, I worship You with a pure heart

God is good all the time

His faithfulness is eternal and mercy is everlasting

His truth shall stand from generations to generations

God is worthy, mighty, sweet, and kind

God is a good and generous Father to me

I worship God, only Him

With Him

With His stripes, I am healed

With His heart, I am loved

With His hands, I am fed

And He supplies all my need

Your love, your love is unchanging

Your joy, your joy is lasting

Your grace, your grace is amazing

Your peace, your peace is perfect

Your faith, your faith is unwavering

So, we worship You

So, we worship You, LORD

With your Spirit, you give us power

With your strength, you lift us up

With your blood, you cleansed all our sins

And we need your presence deep within

So, we love You

So, we love You, Lord

When it Rains, my God Reigns

When it rains, sometimes it pours and I can’t see my way

But when it rains, my God Reigns I praise Him anyway

No matter what the weather in any kind of night or fight

The battle is not yours, so give it to God, and let His Word be your guiding light
