Preface

The Beginning of a Journey

In every journey, there is a starting point and an ending point. And in-between, you’ll experience different things. While in transit, we hope for the best experience; however, our experiences are not always pleasant because the world is full of the good, the bad, and the ugly. How we react to these experiences is completely our decision. Also, there is no one destination for every journey. You decide where you’re going before you start. You control the why, when, how and where; the starting point and the ending point. But what happens in-between is beyond your control, for such is known only by your creator.

Our life’s journey is similar to what I’ve just described, because of the battle between good and evil. However, in life’s journey, the master planner, the creator, is the originator and the terminator; and He laid down a perfect plan, with a predestined destination. A plan that included every creature on earth. A plan of eternal heritage; for humans, one people, one purpose, and one destination-life eternal. But our enemy, the liar, the deceiver, the old serpent, took away that privilege from us. As a result, the destination our creator had designed for us multiplied; we now have more than one destination. Our creator, however, redeemed our original prepackaged destiny, but He gives us a choice to reshape it to whatever we want, out of love. Even at that, He desires us to make the right decision by choosing what He wants for us; for all His plans for us are good.

Due to what the enemy did to mankind, the human race now faces the challenge of identifying the simple things of life, which has been made complex by error, such as identity and purpose, which are instrumental to finding our destiny. Hence, we have questions like, Why Am I Here? This question addresses the purpose, the mission of our being on planet Earth. Let’s explore together to understand the true meaning of life, and how to identify our individual destiny through human drives. What does life mean to you?

My Coat of Many Colors

I woke up from what I thought was a nightmare,

And I found myself wearing a coat of many colors.

A coat of many colors, is a multiple blessing from God.

A coat of many colors sometimes seems like a curse,

And sometimes it is difficult to meet the challenges

that come with the coat of many colors.

It attracts enemies; it attracts friends.

Come what may, the coat of many colors is

a message to the world.

A message to a diverse universe,

One people, different tongues.

A coat of many colors,

The abundance of God’s blessings;

That, I shall wear.

Part One : You were born with a heritage

Dream

Dream! is as big as you can imagine it.

Dream big and achieve big.

Small dreams limit your success;

Bigger dreams widen your vision,

and expand your knowledge.

Dream it, and you can imagine it.

Imagine it, and you can perceive it.

Visualize it, and you can achieve it.

Achievement is success,

and success is progress.

Progress begets recognition,

acceptance, and visibility.

Dreaming the big dreams, is honorable.

Chapter One : Be accountable for your life

In order for you to be accountable for your life, you must take cognizance of the following:

You must know who you are, the Real you.

You must know and understand that you were born with a heritage.

You must be able to identify what life means to you.

This book, Discover Your Coat of Many Colors, is designed to provide answers to the most important questions for every human being; to understand the true meaning of life; and how to get to your divine destination. Some of those questions are:

Who Am I?

Whom do I belong to?

How did I get here?

Why Am I here?

What Can I do? And

What is my destiny?

Knowing the answers to these basic questions will help you understand the significance of your existence on planet Earth. I.e., what your life is all about.

Also, Discover Your Coat of Many Colors, reveals the blessings of God, and how to position yourself to receive God’s blessings, standing on His promises. In a nutshell, it is a book for dreamers without limit; those who aspire to achieve and succeed beyond all odds; yet, retain peace, joy and happiness, the benefits of true success.

Every outstanding dream or vision must generate both friends and enemies. In any case, the dreamer’s eyes should always be focused on Him who brings our dreams to reality, the Almighty God. No matter what you do, enemies will always try to pull you down through discouragement, envy, jealousy, and hatred, even when there is no wrong doing on your part.

But the important thing is staying focused and looking up for help. In the end, it is what God says that must be the bottom line. Moreover, remain in God’s presence, and in His plan always, for victory assurance.

Why do you care so much about the validation of your identity by others while they do not know the real you inside?

As you read this book, receive and claim the blessings and the promises of God by faith, and it will work for you. Also, take the divine instructions of wisdom, apply them into your life, then watch and see the wonders of God manifesting with an overflowing harvest in your life. For Jehovah has pronounced you kings/queens and priests; and commanded you to subdue and take dominion over the earth. Now, get up and take what belongs to you. It is your heritage.
