After succeeding, failing, falling flat on our faces, dusting ourselves off, and rising again together, tools and techniques started to present themselves, so we tried them on and remained curious.

It is called The Edge of Connection because most are not willing to take the risk, peer over The Edge and explore the great unknown. Most are not willing to feel The Edges of dark and uncomfortable experiences of themselves and each other.

Many couples are choosing to struggle alone with the un-said and un-expressed, bottling it up repeatedly until eventually the chasm of disconnection feels insurmountable. Continuously trying to please others, scared of how others will react, and trying to fit in. Choosing to switch off just going through the motions, submitting to the old way because it is what we know and seems easier, even though it can be excruciating and painful.

The beginning of any relationship is a time to let go and completely allow what is on offer between you and your current connection. You always have two choices at The Edge, you can withhold and peer back at what you used to do, or dive deeply into your present moment experience of each other.

The former will generally result in stagnancy or revisiting of your past relating experience, the latter, while it may seem more vulnerable, uncomfortable at times, and unknown, will result in a deep expansive dive off The Edge of love into infinite possibility.

Far more transformation is created when you gaze beyond what you are used to doing and try on a new way of welcoming what you are being guided to co-create.

This first chapter is an unabridged version of how we met (both perspectives, it is a co-creation after all) and why we have chosen to show up powerfully together and the direct result of this most present moment edge of love.

Meeting Georgia

Shortly after my arrival in Bali, I was tempted to connect with the local Tantra tribe. I decided to throw myself in at the deep end and attend my first Temple evening. As we were standing in the opening circle, sharing our intention and why we are here this blonde bombshell opposite me declared sharing my heart on a plate is my intention. From that moment I felt an instant bond and connection.

This is exactly what I have been actively embodying this year. Living with a wide open heart.

There was instant connection and intrigue. As the night evolved, we partnered up. Instantly, I felt the desire to ask if I could ravish and bite her body like a wild beast. My animal wildness and playfulness bursting to be expressed. Georgia’s immediate willingness to go there with me was both activating and liberating. Ah…
