A Special Dedication to Mother

I strongly feel that any writing skills that I may have I owe to my Mother, the late Reverend Carrie A. Gooding—Devout Evangelist and Spiritual Healer. She provided a base for learning before school age by spending countless hours teaching me my ABC how to spell and form sentences. All of this transpired before I was five years of age. She insisted that being able to speak clearly and correctly were the keys to providing for your listening and reading audience a vivid picture of your thoughts.

She instilled in me from a very early age the importance of verbal and written communication. In All of my writings, I have attempted to apply what she taught me.

I hope in some small way, I have done her justice.
