The art of the intuitive healer. Volume 2 - Wayne Lee

    Introduction

The process of becoming a confident, intuitive healer is amazing in itself, but when we allow the process to help us evolve, the potential to help others and ourselves is infinite. We learn to drop the boundaries that our lives, society, and teachers have taught us, so we can accept the fragility of our physical bodies, and make contact with the deepest part of our souls.

These changes are not about making us different people, but about revealing the true depth of our loving and caring power. We can only love others as much as we love ourselves. So it is vital to discover our internal love, delve deep into that love and accept ourselves as we are in our perfect imperfect uniqueness, banishing any fears of exposing the vulnerable, loving souls that we are.

It is a process that is never-ending, and while I have mastered these skills to some degree, I have only just begun to scratch the surface of the depth of love and acceptance available to share with myself, my family, friends, clients, the world and the entire universe.

You will come to your own conclusions as to how best the tools I am offering will work for you. You can use them in many ways: to heal yourself and your clients; to increase self-love; for inspiration and personal development; for healing family issues and so much more. The boundaries of loving are limitless.

    The Three Basic Aspects

The art of being an intuitive healer covers three fundamental aspects of healing and self-mastery. The practice of being at one with yourself physically, mentally and energetically with total acceptance, allows the universe to become the teacher. Who would you rather have as your teacher, someone who has learned second-hand information from someone else, or your higher self, your guides and the universe?

We need to be present in the centered flow of our body, mind, and energy. If one of these components is not present, we are not allowing the healing to be our teacher and offer its full potential. We are not allowing the universe to feed and flow through us. If we are not present with ourselves, we cannot be present for our clients.

The three aspects have an order which works for me, and I believe will also work for most people, but once you have mastered the oneness they bring, you will have the universe to help you find your own way.

However, even if we are not totally balanced, it doesn't mean we should stop seeing clients. No, not at all. Clients come to see us because they need to learn to recognise their own love just as much as we do. Our process is also their process. Their process is also our process. We cannot separate ourselves from our clients because we are all ‘one'. So don't stop seeing clients. Trust more and work on discovering your love more. It is most likely the fear of being in connection with ourselves, that is preventing us from connecting fully with our own love. So as I said, trust more and allow the healing to be the most important part of the process - beyond our needs and the needs of the client.

    ***

Firstly, as we are humans in a human world on this earth plane, we need to start off with the physical. We have to respect the earth and all living things on the earth. We have to accept that we are on this planet and that death is ours to fear or revere, ours to deny or accept. We have to live a life of certain death. The only certainty in our physical world is death, so when you accept that, you start to let go of one of the biggest boundaries of life. Fear of death and the unknown can hold you back, and so your intuition cannot find its flow. I am not asking you to be suicidal, or push your physical body beyond its earthly ability. I am asking you to let go of the fear of being wrong. To let go of any need to understand everything. I am asking you to go for it, to take the leap and trust yourself as a mortal, fallible human, and to trust yourself more and more.

Secondly, as naturally intuitive animals, we have to accept our influential mind and start to master our thoughts. We have to accept that the mind and its thoughts are not who we are and that our minds can often be our biggest enemies. We need to re-programme negative, self-belittling thoughts with thoughts of loving gentleness towards ourselves. What we are thinking when we are healing is the key which opens the door to flowing, organic, universal love and healing. We must be gentle with ourselves.

Thirdly, we are souls in a physical body; we are not a body with a soul, our energy is the true essence of who we are. Our physical and mental aspects are also just energy. Energy is love. Love is the healer. Offer your genuine love, and you are offering the power of the universe, the same power the ‘universe' would use to create worlds of life just like our beloved home.

We must combine the open connection to our physical bodies, go clarity of mind, and to our love. Accept these three parts as ‘one', and then we can allow ourselves to be the universal healing channel between our love, ourselves and our clients. Offering the purest of love helps people heal beyond our limitations and expectations.

This process is not a quick fix. It is not easy as we are heavily programmed to disconnect from our love. So let us be gentle with ourselves during this enlightening process. We will not beat ourselves up or doubt ourselves. Instead, we will be kind and nurturing and swim through the lake of patience as if it is the source of all love itself.

    PART ONE

    PHYSICAL HEALING

    Chapter One - Breathing

The first aspect of being a productive and powerful intuitive healer is the connection to your physical self. If you are not in touch with your physical human self, you are going to be a slower channel of energy and inspiration than you can be when you are more connected to your body. We are humans on the earth plane and must respect the reality of our human life. In the womb, we go through the process of being physically created but are still very much the spiritual energetic being we were in the universal energy of the spirit energy planes.

As soon as we are released from our mother's womb, our first job is to learn to breathe. Then we start to become aware of our bodies and learn movement, and physical connection in our earth gravity lives. Physical awareness is the first step to being a connected, complete human being. Our physical bodies make us the human beings that we are in the heavy thick atmosphere of the earth plane, and breathing is an essential skill for our survival. Even though it is built into our DNA, many of us unlearn the natural method of breathing.

Getting in touch with your physical self is an ongoing process that always starts with the building block of life that is breathing. If you are breathing correctly, which means using your full range of breath, you are much more connected to your body. The breath connects you to your root, to your primal natural instinct as a human and is always the first step to being grounded and ‘in the moment'. Focusing on breathing pulls you into the moment. It allows you to focus on yourself as you are right now and takes you away from disconnected thoughts about past and future. Breathing pulls you into the now, into the present, which is the essence of being grounded. Which includes both the physical and the inner space that you are in every moment of every day. So the awareness of what is happening in the now is not just about standing in your kitchen, but also about how you feel, and what you are experiencing while standing in your kitchen, no matter whether it is comfortable or challenging.

To improve your breath/body connection follow your breath with your mind to check if you are using the full range of your lungs or not. If not, you can re-educate yourself to breathe more efficiently.

As you breathe to connect to yourself some of you will notice that you are snatching your breath (in fear), are shallow breathing (taking fast panting breaths), or have a skip in your breath (like a slight hiccup as you breathe). Most of us breathe faster and shallower than we should, but with focus, we can learn to slow our breathing down to a natural breathing flow. On the other hand, taking huge deep breaths that make you shift your physical body will pull you out of connection with yourself. So focussing on your natural range of breath is important.

    1 - Breathing In

To breathe correctly first take the air into the bottom of your lungs. Filling your lungs up from the bottom is like pouring water into a glass from the bottom up and is the perfect way to re-educate your breathing.

    2 - Breathing Out

Breathing out is just as important as breathing in! On the out-breath push the air out from the bottom of your lungs - like squeezing the bottom of the tooth paste tube. In doing this, you fully empty your lungs so that the next breath will be an entirely new one. I use the out-breath as a release as it pushes the pressure or stress out of my body helping it to relax.

Try taking 5 or 6 breaths and focus on the out-breath as much as you focus on the in-breath. Be aware of how it makes you feel to breathe
