Chapter 1 What Is a Dysfunctional Relationship?
There is a misconception that when two people stay together for a long period of time or perhaps have an instant attraction to one another they are destined to be together. There is also a theory that two people can grow to love one another and thus respect one another in the way in which a healthy relationship works.

This is because many relationships can turn dysfunctional in ways and means one may have never even imagined and many fail to recognize. It is because of this that one that has even small a seed of doubt about their current partner has to better understand and accept whether or not the relationship is one that could be considered dysfunctional.
Though varying degrees exist within and in regards to a dysfunctional relationship there is one root and core issue
