INTRODUCTION

This book is about my personal health struggles with experiencing high inflammation, kidney stones, fibroid tumors with menorrhagia and anemia. I was overweight and a pre-diabetic with pre-hypertension. I was able to reverse all of these illnesses by educating myself and transitioning to a healthier lifestyle.  It is my hope that I can help others, especially women, who are battling these same problems.

I wish I knew a few years ago, what I know now.  Too many of my friends and family have been affected by some type of preventable illness including myself.  All of the illnesses mentioned thus far could have been prevented by simple lifestyle changes and being educated about our food and our environment.
