About this ebook

Go For It! features a series of ideas and images to guide your life, based on 240 posts that originally appeared on Instagram.  These comments reflect the view that what you think shapes you and your experiences, so if you think about ways to pursue your passion, guide your life, find true happiness, or work it right,  you will be able to do so.

These are comments like: "Control your thoughts, control your life" and "Good thoughts lead the way to wise actions."

The book also suggests ways to incorporate these ideas into your life, such as by focusing on one or two thoughts a day, gazing at the image with each thought, and thinking about how you might apply that idea in your life. Another suggestion is to create a support group that meets once a week to go through the book together.

    INTRODUCTION

    ––––––––

Each photo and comment is designed to help you as you seek to pursue your passions, guide your life, find true happiness, and gain success in your work.  The book is divided into four sections for each of these topics.

A good way to use this book quickly go through it; then go back and take one or two comments a day and reflect on the thought and picture.  As you do, ask yourself these questions:

    - How can I apply that thought or photo in my life?

    - How can I better find or pursue what I most like doing?

    - What should I do or change in light of that thought or photo?

    - How can I use this idea to improve my relationships and work?

    - How can I use this idea to have more satisfaction, joy, and success in life?

If you use one comment and photo per day, you can go through this process in 240 days.  Or select two comments and photos each day and spend 120 days going through this book.

You can participate on your own or create a support group with 2 to 7 others to go through this together.  Ideally, meet once a week in-person or online, and discuss what you learned about yourself and how you have applied these ideas in your life.  Facilitate the group yourself or choose a different person each week to lead the group.

At the end of the 30 or 60 days, reflect back on what you have gained from the experience.

The particular comments and photos in this book come from a series of posts I created for Instagram based on these four topics. I started doing these posts after I took a class in Instagram taught by Alison Stripling, and the instructor asked us to start posting some copy and a photo. After I used Instagram to create a series of posts for the first book, I created posts for three more books.  GO FOR IT! combines all four books.

    BOOK I: PURSUE YOUR PASSION

Once you know your true passion, pursue it where it leads,

and it will bring sunshine into your life.

Life is like a fountain.  Add color to it, and that will add

more excitement and attract more people to you.
