Your Loving Guide to Healing: Strengthen Your Body, Mind and Soul

About this ebook
Damaged people, who have not taken the time to heal, are a hazard, not only to themselves, but to everyone and everything around them. I am not implying that being damaged is something to be ashamed of. Not at all. In fact, acknowledging it takes a lot of courage and awareness because it can finally be addressed. That is what my book is all about. My personal journey has been filled with a great deal of pain, suffering, and grief. Even though I have made a lot of mistakes along the way, I have learned that I could either respond to events as a victim or empower myself to respond as an alchemist, turning my sadness into art, my anger and frustration into motivation, and my pain into passion. Our situation may not always be our fault, but we do have the choice in how we respond. I have gone through emotional and physical abuse, abandonment, and have had to endure situations that left me weak, disempowered, and embarrassed. Some of these situations were forced upon me as I was too young to make better decisions. I have had those closest to me abuse my trust, use me, and then discard me like a piece of garbage. All of this left me angry and confused. My inner world was damaged, and my outer world confirmed that. Because of my upbringing I questioned my self-worth and my ability to be loved. Along the way, I lost myself and turned into everything that I was not. Eventually, I found my way back again. Only this time I returned more empathetic, understanding, and empowered. Sometimes life brings forth a great deal of pain so we can empathize with the suffering of others and help them transform it. Throughout history, some of the most inspirational healers have endured the most pain. My mother was my perfect role model of what not to do. I realized that everything that she did was damaging. Damaging to me, to my brother, and most importantly to herself. In order to heal, we must become aware of a lot of things. Two of those aspects are, our relationship with our parents and the relationship that our parents have with themselves. Many of us were brought up by unconscious parents who simply adapted their parents’ energetic blueprint. Our parents repeated what their parents did to them because that was the only thing that they knew. Since our parents are our biggest role models, we tend to adopt their behavior. Fortunately, at some point, I realized that my mother’s behavior was toxic. By adopting her behavior into my own life, I was demolishing myself and living the life that I did not want. We become our parents and, in the process, end up suffering just like they did. I am here to tell you that the apple can and will fall far from the tree. As long as we become aware of our parents’ actions as well as our own unconscious behavior, we can then make a conscious effort to deprogram such toxicity. Our programming, however good or bad, happens mostly in childhood. As an adult, we can change that programming if we really want to. It takes a lot of work and honesty. I wrote this book in hopes of helping you change your negative programming. You must take responsibility for your life and your healing process and stop hoping for someone else to come to your rescue. Your healing journey is your responsibility. Slow down for once and quit hiding from all the pain that was ignored for far too long. I know burying the pain or running away from it seems easier, but this only prolongs your pain and postpones your healing. Let this book be your guide to yourself. This exquisite journey is all about finding out who you are, so stop hiding under layers that your ego has identified with. Use this book as a tool to help you to know yourself; to encourage you to heal your body, your mind, and your soul. Refrain from giving your power away in hopes of being healed by another. This process is highly personal and takes a lot of conscious effort on your end. In this book I give you the tools to heal within and guide you back towards your authentic self.

Introduction
Hurt people tend to hurt other people. Often, they hurt those closest to them the most. Like a destructive and chaotic tornado, they destroy themselves and everything else that crosses their path be it their mother, sister, animals, nature, or anything else that gets in their way. The thing is people cannot go on living damaged and pretending that they are okay because the consequences of being hurt are too big to overlook. Damaged people, who have not taken the time to heal, are a hazard, not only to themselves, but to everyone and everything around them. I am not implying that being damaged is something to be ashamed of. Not at all. In fact, acknowledging it takes a lot of courage and awareness because it can finally be addressed. This process is highly personal and takes a lot of conscious effort on your end. Let me tell you a little story. I remember hitting rock bottom and with what seemed like my last breath, handing my spirit over to source. I was lost, confused, and was experiencing financial difficulties with being recently laid off, all while sharing a tiny studio apartment with a girl who was a drug addict. I remember feeling overwhelmed with life, like I could no longer go on living like that. So, I decided to go to a beautiful park near my house and meditate. I lived in San Francisco at the time and could see the Golden Gate Bridge from there. I sat on the edge of a mountain and started meditating. Being there on the edge of that mountain, sniffing the ocean made time stop. I was completely still and able to hear myself. It was then that a voice presented itself to me and asked me, what do you choose, to walk in the dark or the light?
In response, I thought to myself the light, I choose to walk in the light
. This was the moment when my life began to drastically improve. Everything started falling into place like a solved Rubik's Cube. From that moment on, it was as if my ego lost control and my spirit was leading. I began to follow my heart and no longer took part in the things that did not align with who I was. Spiritual awakening refers to a dynamic shift in consciousness and an appreciation of reality that had previously been unrealized. What I experienced that day was a spiritual awakening, and that was just the beginning of what followed. Gradually, I began to wake up to the reality that I was living. I felt everything that did not align with who I was had to fall away. If something in my life hindered my spirit, I let it go. Fear started to disappear, and my former identity started chipping away. Slowly, I found myself again. The process was gradual but by following and living from my heart, I finally healed. I have discovered that to live in heaven here on earth, one must learn to live in their truth and walk in the light. To walk in light is to honor your creator and yourself. By being decent human beings, we embody Christ consciousness. This book will teach you what you inherently know but have lost sight of. Whatever journey that you have been through, I want you to understand that you are not damaged goods. You too can heal from whatever atrocity you’ve experienced and by healing, you will inspire others to do the same. As Neal DeGrasse Tyson stated, We are all connected to each other biologically, to the earth chemically, and to the rest of the universe atomically.
Just think of the possibilities if the majority of us heal together. We can create a new world. A world where love, empathy, compassion, honor, and honesty rule. By living our life with such strong values, we can heal this planet and restore what we have selfishly and unconsciously damaged. Let’s stop the selfishness and remember that we are interdependent. We rely on one another and thinking that we are somehow completely independent is false. We were not designed to live life alone. We were designed to connect to each other, rely on each other, and help each other in life. We thrive by being dependent on one another. So, let’s reconnect again, only this time, organically. Let’s reconnect to ourselves, to nature, and to others. Let’s teach our kids to do the same. We need another way as the way that we have been living is clearly not working. Technology is not the answer to our loneliness. It is a tool that has gotten out of control and needs to be reevaluated. We must begin to love ourselves and build better boundaries. That includes boundaries with technology and everything that is distracting us from ourselves and our true connection with other people. This book will teach you how to manage your energy so you can build a better relationship with yourself and others. I will show you tools, such as nutrition, that can be used to better your health and improve your physique. Everything is connected and if your mind is weak, then your body will also be weak. That is why I will focus on helping you strengthen your body, mind, and soul. When all three are in alignment, there is no limit to how great we can make this world. Human beings are the ultimate creators. We are truly magical and can-do magical things if we simply believe and act. I mean, heck, some movies and children’s stories are always trying to remind us of that very fact. I want to remind you of this too. You are powerful beyond measure, but you must first stop giving your power away. We are at a point in
