    My Testimony

I’ve done lost all my money, and almost my wife.

Depressed deep down with thoughts of losing my life.

And I’ve been trying so hard with all of my might.

But I just can’t seem to get this right.

I’ve done been hell and high water.

Negative bank account trying to piece together dollars with quarters.

Just to show I support her.

But the further I reached, I only ended up shorter.

    Y’all don’t know my story.

Was chasing Christ reaching out for his glory.

But became lost because her words tore me.

See I was stuck in a tight spot.

The game was on the line and I took the last shot.

Begging for a new beginning, but look where I got.

Just because the sun is shining doesn’t mean that it’s hot.

    I guess not.

See to be a king you have to keep the queen in your palace.

But when a queen dethrones, your kingdom becomes off balance.

    And I was slowly sinking.

Trying to gather my way to the surface with all the thoughts I was thinking.

See I sold my body for money, I nearly lost my mind.

Working late nights I sacrificed my sleep for work time.

The thoughts of selling drugs came questioning do I go back to the grind?

Or jeopardize my freedom for nickels and dimes?

Scarred on the inside but acting like I’m fine.

Because I had to heal others and myself at the same time.

And daily I fed life, encouragement, faith, and hope.

It’s like doing CPR to heal you and I intake your choke.

I guess that’s what the calling do.

All along I’ve encouraged you to hold on, but I was falling too.

I’ve been soaked by the rain.

    I’ve done broke these chains.

    Battled this
