Chapter 4

Williams turning down his street, seeing Kelly and his crew on bikes heading past. Jarrod and Marcel each have hold of the handlebars pulling along a rider-less bike.

Ahead is Williams cottage house that he rented. But the image of the rider-less bike remained and he circled back following the boys finding them in a field.

Kelly was hunched over with a spray paint can in his hand so he didn’t see Williams stopped nearby. Watching them. The others didn't recognise him in his bike gear until it was too late.

Williams taking his helmet and sunglasses off.


It's the sub man! Sheldon screamed.


They all gasp and scatter.


Kelly was still busy hovering and spraying that he almost didn't escape in time. Throwing the can of white paint to the ground. He ran.


Williams came upon the bike. Spray-painted across it the one word. Fag. Williams took off after Kelly. But Kelly was surprisingly fast. Passing by his friends.

Split up! He shouted.


The bikes scattered and disperse.

Marcel taking a side street.

Williams peddling fast.

You little shit.

Kelly, Jarrod and Sheldon flew over a hill and disappeared onto a mountain trail.

They looked back and were startled to see Williams following them, expertly navigating the terrain.

Kelly cursed.
