How is it that some people respond to unexpected demand or a challenge by bouncing back, while others find it difficult to cope? Those who deal well with pressure and stressful events are said to be more resilient. They can't avoid stressful events, but they handle them differently
So, how can you develop your personal resilience?
Resilience is also called emotional stamina, or hardiness. It's what allows you to bounce back in the face of adversity or a challenge. Being resilient means you have the skills to recover from a setback and to process negative experience so that it doesn't bring you down, it strengthens you.
When you understand what these characteristics are, you can begin to foster attitudes and habits in yourself which will boost your resilience and reduce the impact of stressful events. This book will help you do that.
Everyone varies in their level of resilience, some of us are naturally stronger than others. What's great about this is that the skills of resilience are learnable. You can learn what makes the most resilient people resilient, and everything you need to know is in this course. This is a practical course, with daily steps to practice and develop the skills you need to develop and maintain your resilience.
